she chuckled, trying so hard to hide the pain she was feeling and Lea shook her head. “Like I said before, badass move,” she said and they both laughed about it. Lea’s phone suddenly beeped and she pulled it out. She clicked on the notification and she smiled. “Oh. The list of the cities where the special guests will be invited for the first grand party is out,” she said and turned the phone to Xalia. Xalia stared at it and her heart skipped a beat as she saw New York on the list. “What guests? Billionaires in that city?” she asked and looked at Lea.

"You haven't even kissed anyone yet, what do you understand? Go to bed and get some sleep." With that, he turned his head and walked towards his own room. Colin frowned. Kiss...? As soon as those words came to mind, Colin's ears suddenly felt warm. In his mind, a beautiful and sweet face appeared... Cloud City, an upscale residential complex. Leah was wearing a white nightgown, her gaze absentmindedly fixed on the computer screen in front of her. The room remained dark, and she sat cross-legged on the bed, her long hair cascading down to her waist, complementing her exquisitely fair complexion, making her appear like a vampire from a dim and ancient castle.

' Hazel sighed. Leila Qin took a glance at her and then looked at Zac. "I didn't expect that you would come to Yang City," she said to him. "It's great. The scenery is beautiful and the climate is pleasant." Zac flashed a smile and looked at Hazel. The best and most important thing in this city was the little angel who always did things that amused and surprised him every day. Leila looked at Hazel and asked, "Aunt Marci, is this your model?"

Jake nodded, lifting her carefully into the helicopter, buckling her in securely before taking his seat beside her. As the helicopter ascended higher into the night sky, the cityscape below them turned into a twinkling mosaic of lights, creating an almost surreal contrast with the darkness."Wow, Lea, look at that!” Jake exclaimed, pointing out the window. “I never thought I’d see the city like this. It’s breathtaking.”She turned to him, her lips curling into a faint smile. "It's beautiful, Jake. But I can't wait to see the hills again."

Leya moved to the window and saw sunlight slashing through clouds, etching gold stripes over the rain-lashed city. "The storm is raging," she said. "But not the war." Shayla's eyes located hers. "You still think someone's coming?" Leya's mouth twisted into a line. "Someone always is." She turned moving back to the bed, The twins rolled over as she knelt beside them, her hand stroking their hair as she whispered so softly that only they could hear: “You’ll grow up free. You’ll grow up brave. You’ll carry our name without fear — Leon, Aurora — you’ll be the legacy your grandfather dreamed of.”

Leila was tempted to pour the bucket of half melted ice over her head. Luckily, Zanna Valdez walked in the door, proving to be the distraction she needed. Leila was waiting for the one of Valdez twins to arrive for their shift so she could ask them to swop tomorrow night’s shift. Tomorrow was the night Leila really needed off. The night of the full moon, when her plans consisted of her wolf running through the mostly unhabituated Everglades surrounding the small town of Stillwater, Florida. "Stop! Who are you? This is a private residence, and no outsiders are allowed!" the guards snarled at Leon and Iris as they puffed their chests out proudly. They had a perfect reason to be proud—Sky County was a far more advanced city that surpassed both Springfield City and Seacove City in all aspects, including economics and geographical location.
