Andre's pup was his legacy and my only connection with him. I vowed to give birth to that pup, even if I had to risk my life! My in-laws did not talk me out of it after seeing my insistence. The next day, my brother-in-law, Easton, suddenly suggested the idea of caring for both women while keeping me as Luna, in an effort to take care of me and my pup. His fiancée, Callie Wentworth, immediately lost it. Crying and yelling, she kicked my belly. "You witch! Easton is my boyfriend! Why does he have to take care of you? You must have seduced him! He rambles, before looking back down at his laptop. Odd, I swore he told me I needed to wake up. I just shrugged it off and looked back up at the books. I stopped walking when I saw an old book that belonged to his grandma. It was a book about the wolf people. I bit my lip. I looked over at Hunter again. “Do you believe in the stories of the shapeshifters and the wolf people?” I questioned him, debating if I should tell him or not. I chew on my bottom lip.

She wore the neck lace kerchief, yet he could tell it didn’t do her justice because it didn’t hide how her bosom almost spilled over the top of her bodice. He walked toward his uncle who came his way. “What can I do for you, Uncle?” “I thought you would like to play a game with us. Lady Sarah mentioned she had learned a new game that expands on Trundling Hoop and Roll, but she doesn’t quite remember how to play.” Henry ran his fingers through his salt and pepper colored hair and gave Gabe a crooked smile. “With you traveling so much, I was hoping you had learned this game as well.”

Leon was utterly shocked, his body stiffening as if electrocuted, his mouth agape in silent disbelief. 'What... who is this? Not Sonya? How could this be?' 'This must be Windy, Sonya's niece whom I had completely forgotten about.' His mind was spinning, remembering every detail of last night—the kisses, the hugs, the penetration, everything felt real, but now it was clearly a huge mistake. His face paled, his hands recoiled quickly as if stung, but he held back from admitting anything.

No more whispers behind closed doors. Now, it was just her. Well, her and Andres. Later, she’d ask him what was really going on. Around ten-thirty… While seated at her desk, focused on a new design proposal for an eco-resort, she called Tasha. “How’s Palawan?” she asked, sketching a layout. She heard the sound of waves in the background. “Ma’am, everything’s good. The contractors are on time. Leo, Marge, Anton — all present. You’re the only one missing.”

Two of our Deltas rushed in to get rid of the rogue, who pushed the door open. Killian and I stood at the door, ushering every one of them in. Actually, Killian did more of the ushering thing, while I just stared awkwardly at Leona for a while. She's an Omega right? She didn't attack Iñari earlier, which means she still probably has access to her wolf side? Can she actually be of help? "Alpha?!" Killian called out, snapping me out of my thoughts. I reluctantly tore my gaze off a nervous looking Leona, who took it as her cue to go inside.

Stella POV: Here I am, talking and laughing with my sisters even though Iam the adopted one. Everything seems better now. I forgot my past but Iam trying to have a good life here with a whole big family. I finished dinner and went inside my room in a peaceful mind. My mind is empty without memories but Iam feeling stress-free. That’s the only benefit I have. I locked my room and my mind went on to that weird boy who is telling me I love him and he instantly shape-shifted to some mechanical thing. He’s a weirdo.
