“Will you look at that. Turns out my daddy runs the city after all,” Leslie’s voice mocked behind her. Fatima sighed before turning.
“What do you want, Leslie?” Fatima asked, drained and exhausted from not sleeping last night.
“I watched your argument with Nicholas. In case you didn’t notice, he logged me in on the house security cameras,” Leslie said, rolling her eyes. “I was the one who showed him the footage.”
“Wow. Good for you,” Fatima said sarcastically.
