He says he isn’t a player, but has a drawer with clothes meant for the opposite sex. I shook my head as I went through it. I pulled out shorts, a sports bra, and a v-neck t-shirt. I stared at him and waited for him to turn around. When he did, he remained silent while I dressed. When I was done he turned around and smiled at me.

As long as you promise not to put me in anything too outlandish.” She put together a simple yet professional ensemble: a crisp white top paired with gray checkered ankle-length trousers and a coordinating jacket. Lea handed me nude heels and delicate silver half-moon studs. I gave the outfit a once-over, nodding in approval. “You’ve struck a balance between professional and stylish.
