Jason Peters opened his eyes slowly; he was beginning to come out of his extremely droopy state finally. His eyelids fluttered as though they were in the making of a slow motion video. All these were the after effects of staying up the whole night playing video games and at the same time hiding from his mom to avoid any of her reprimands for his"unethical behaviour". He was allowed to be up till at least 9pm during holidays, but he stayed awake till a whooping 2am the next morning.

I could tell that he was the kind who would betray the world just to be with her. It finally hit me. Selene, the radiant moon I once cherished, could choose to shine her light on anyone she wanted. And I no longer deserved it. I'd lost my privileges a long time ago.

So I try to see if I can move any other body part, anything at all. Toes, nope. legs, nope. arms, still nope. Damn it! I'm going to be a fucking vegetable for the rest of my life! That's just fan-diddly-fuckin-tastic. Fingers, nop- wait. Holy shit! I lifted my right index finger! Finally progress! "MILLIE GET IN HERE!" Alpha yells.

From now on, my heart would finally be free to soar. So no, I wouldn't be sad just because he'd discarded me—because I never needed love to begin with. … At the airport, as I boarded my flight with my luggage, my phone buzzed with a string of messages from Felix. 'Where did you go? Why aren't you answering my calls? Call me right now!' 'Kathy, stop being childish. Come back and apologize, and I'll forgive you.' 'We might not get married, but at least we can still be friends. Be sensible.'

Judy was scared. She knew Lawson could do it, so she covered Samson's mouth and did not have the courage to let him continue. She feared she might not even be able to keep the life she had now. Do you still want to be my wife or not?" I smiled as I took out two copies of certificates from my bag and threw them onto the floor. "I'm not your wife anymore. We're divorced!" Jason was stunned. "You did it for real?! Fine, even if we're divorced, you can't let my child be born in prison for the sake of all our years together, can you?"

None other than Willem, that domestic abuser. A smile crept onto my face. Willem had AIDS.
