She scanned the books on the shelf but couldn't seem to find the one she was looking for. She paused, trying to remember if this was where she found it, before she checked the surrounding shelves, in case she had made a mistake, but still failed to locate the book. Walking back the way she had come, she retraced her steps, making sure that this was the correct bookshelf and checked the bookshelf again but still nothing. She was still standing there, confused and a little frustrated, when she heard the soft click of the library doors being shut.
