Humanity has finally done it and destroyed the world. After the spread of the killer virus that no one had a cure for, countries started to fight as greed has pushed them to expand their territories. And in the process, they provoked mother nature to take a stand. The plague evolved into something that twisted and deformed humans; they were neither dead nor alive. Just walking empty husks that fed on flesh and had one purpose, killing. The supernatural were exposed to the rest of the world; as they weren't spared and got affected, too. The result of this knowledge was chaos. Instead of creating one unity, the rest of the living were fighting among themselves and the undead. The entire world turned into a big arena and it was (survival of the fittest).

Her life is full of lies, have many hidden secrets and delusions, way too far from a simple and ordinary life. It all started with the accident that happened to her mom and all the blame was pointed to her. That event changed her life. Everyone around her became hypocritical, everyone had a hidden secret and intentions. But he came into her life and helped her leave the world she's been suffering for a long time, a world that is full of lies. She fell in love with him, but destiny is too playful. When he confessed his feelings to her, Hayacinth rejected him, because for her, a love is not enough to heal a wounded past and a broken soul. Her tears fell down when the person she loves dropped the line that she doesn't want to let others know, that 'kahit magsinungaling ang bibig mo, nagpapakatotoo pa rin ang mga mata'. It marked her mind and her soul. She didn't know what to do at those times because of being hurt, of being not enough and not worthy. She was too afraid to gamble when it comes to the word 'love'. What she wanted to do in those time is to know the truth, to unveil every hidden secret and find the every page of A Book of Lies.
