Chapter 5: Drama
Gianna’s Pov
‘SLAP’
I feel a sting on my right cheek. The female’s eyes burn with rage as she accusingly pointed her finger. “How dare you seduce him” she spats at me. “
You filthy, worthless rogue” she raises her hand and slap me on the cheek once again.
“Shame on you” she yell at me.
It was after when the Alpha left that this flee walk down to the dungeon and demand the guards to open my cell’s door.
She threatened them and when the guards finally granted her wish, she enter my cell like a goddess with a missing tooth.
Yes, I won’t describe her nicely because she treated me like shit the moment she came inside the cell door even though she’s pretty.
What a waste of beauty? I thought and look back at her stormy eyes.
She raises her hand again to go for the third round, however I stop her right there. I may granted her the privilege to hit me before but enough is enough.
There is a limit to everyone’s kindness and quietness. I am not a mat to be walked on or a rag to spit on. She tries to remove her hands from my clutch but I held it tight.
“Yahh who do you think you are?” she asks angrily. However, I am too stubborn to let go.
“Shanna!”
A voice which I am starting to get familiar with made her stop struggling and before I even predict her next move she let out a fake sob.
I let go of her hand and look at her dumfounded. I watch as she starts playing her act one scene three. “Ohhh Dane, this rogue hurts me” she cried out and I just stand there saying nothing. “I was only trying to be kind but she hit me twice.”
My jaw dropped. Unbelievable! The bitch has skills. She is really good in acting. ‘
You better let me out, Gianna. I want to straighten that bitch’s face’ my wolf growled through our link. The Alpha look between the two of us. In his eyes, I could see that I stand no chance to explain.
Oh, I know even if I argue he wouldn’t believe me. After all, I am just a filthy rogue in their eyes. Besides he didn’t believe when I told him that I didn’t try to escape.
“Shanna, I want you to go home,” he said to the female. Shanna left immediately and I brace myself for any punishments that he is going to impose on me. I turn away from his cold glare and look at my dirty feet as if it’s an interesting view.
“Come” I hear him and I shut my eyes.
Screw that, I don’t want to face his wrath. “Aren’t you going to come” he repeated but I am still waiting for his wrath.
“Little rogue, look at me” he order and I slowly lifted my head to see him.
“I am not that little” I mutter and I hear him growl making me jump. I swear I was only telling the truth. I am 6’5 ft. tall not short. Ughhh I hate him.
“Let’s go,” he said in a demanding tone. I gulp my saliva nervously and follow behind him, avoiding eye contact with the pack guards.
We walk on the stairs to the main prison before exiting the building. I still don’t look up not until I collided with something hard.
“Ouch” I wince while rubbing my forehead. I look up and come face to face with his back. He immediately turn around catching me off guard. I almost fall back. I waited to hit the ground but it never happens. His hands go around my waist holding me against his body.
Sparks flew all around me and his divine scent serenade me. “Rogue” he calls but I couldn’t focus as the pull between us is undeniable.
‘Fuck, does he have to be hot’ I thought while licking my lips. I am so lost right now in his arms. ‘Damn, is it okay if I lick him too’ I ask my wolf.
The snapping of fingers in front of me pull me out of my thoughts. “Sorry,” I shyly look down. ‘Ehhh don’t be shy fuzzy Gianna,’ my wolf yell at me through the link and shook her head before howling in laughter.
He let go of me. “Get in the car” I quickly look up and behind him to find his jeep park. He opens the door and I quickly get in the passenger seat. After starting his car, he put it into drive, and we head off. We never spoke to each other in the car but his scent was making me dizzy. Not in a bad way but a really good way. Shit! I am going crazy again with my thoughts. Luckily we arrived at our designation before I lose myself esteem and jump his bones right there.
I look at the tall building in admiration. I swear it’s nothing close to what we have at home. He didn’t say anything to me rather he drag me there and forever I hold my peace.
We made it to the 35th floor, the last floor of the building and I believe it’s also his home. We walk out of the elevator and he punch his code on the door. The only room in this floor.
I follow behind him and my eyes went wide when I see the space here. Gosh, it’s been so long since I have a roof over my head.
“This will be our home for now until I decide what to do with you” he said, making me stunned.
‘Did he just say ‘our?’ Oh please moon goddess send me back to the dungeon, boat, or another dimension. Anywhere I will gladly go as long as I don’t live with this crazy Alpha as he will only give me a never ending drama.
Angel’s POVEver since Miles was discharged, I've been steering clear of him, burying myself in pack responsibilities. I only slipped into his ward when he was asleep, making sure to leave before he could catch a glimpse of me.I long for the days when everything felt normal again. Now, he’s nothing but a source of threats and manipulation, coercing me into actions I would never consider for his own selfish motives.Miles has transformed into something far worse than a monster, and I can’t help but question why I overlooked these signs before accepting the mate bond. I was so eager to move on from Dane that I rushed into Miles's arms without truly grasping his nature.“You're going to make Dane the father of this child,” he declares, and I turn to him in disbelief. It’s been a few days since his discharge, and our communication has been minimal. We’ve been sleeping in separate rooms, making it easier for me to keep my distance. But today, I wasn’t quick enough, and he intercepted me
Tristan's POV I flashed a silent snarl, baring my teeth in response to Mika's blatant disrespect. My wolf was on high alert, agitated by the situation at hand. I couldn't wrap my head around the idea of a woman suddenly appearing and igniting an internal struggle over her acceptance.Mika stirred a whirlwind of emotions within me; she was nothing more than a sly impostor, yet my wolf craved her as if she were meant to be his. The mate bond tugged at us, pulling us closer despite my desire to reject this feeling. I knew that denying it would only lead to more pain, and Mika was fully aware of the turmoil she caused. My wolf yearned for her, but my heart was set on Gianna.“You will not speak to the pack members, do you understand?” I warned, narrowing my eyes to convey my seriousness. She remained silent, sizing me up from head to toe before hissing and attempting to walk away. Ignoring the electric shock that coursed through me, I grabbed her forearm and spun her around to face
Tristan's POVI bit my tongue, struggling to keep the words swirling in my mind at bay, but it was a losing battle. My efforts to suppress my anger were in vain; I felt like a volcano ready to erupt, unable to hold back any longer. Mika had overheard every word exchanged with my Beta, and to make matters worse, she had it all recorded. She was using that as leverage, threatening to reveal everything to the wolf council unless I publicly claimed her as my mate and made her Luna.My wolf was restless, seething beneath the surface, his energy thrumming through me as he fought for dominance. He was furious that I was trying to deny the bond I felt with Mika, especially since he had already accepted her as his mate.I never imagined I would find myself in this position with Mika. What began as mere attraction quickly escalated into a physical relationship, and now it felt like she had me completely under her control, unwilling to release her grip.No one ever warned me about the chall
Gianna's POVI exhaled a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding as I scanned the faces around me, waiting for someone to shatter the heavy silence. Before I could voice my thoughts, Dane seized my hand with a firm grip and tugged me toward the pack house. I understood his intentions, but I was determined to resist. He let out a fierce growl, baring his claws and sharp fangs in a menacing display. I instinctively took two steps back, dreading flooding my system. The moment Dane’s gaze met mine, he retracted his fangs, and I clutched my chest in a panic, contemplating what might have transpired if his wolf had fully taken control.Without thinking, I blurted out, “I’m your Luna, Dane, not your servant. I refuse to do something I dislike just because you want it. For the first time, I’m prioritizing myself, and you need to accept that.”For a brief moment, Dane stared at me in disbelief. I realized that I wasn’t the core issue here; if we were alone, we’d likely be shouting at each ot
Gianna's POV “You’re defending another man and begging for his life?” Dane’s finger jabs at the trembling warrior. “In my presence?” His voice drips with intense anger.“No…my Lord,” the man pleads, sinking to his knees and pressing his face into the dirt. “It’s my fault, my Lord. I was hurt during training, and Luna used her magic to heal me.” His voice quivers, and he sounds on the verge of tears, fully prepared to accept any punishment Dane might unleash, even death, given Dane’s unpredictable nature.Absolutely not.Dane steps forward, but I quickly position myself between them, shielding the warrior from Dane’s wrath. The warrior gasps again, and I can’t help but wonder why this was escalating when I was merely trying to have a conversation with my husband. I mentally tally the offenses, my wolf scolding me for losing focus, so I push her back into the recesses of my mind.I notice Dane’s tension easing as I stand close to him, and in moments like this, I’m thankful for my wolf
Gianna's POV I let out a breath as I absorbed her words. She was pushing my limits, both mentally and emotionally, testing my resolve.“I'll say it again, Luna, I’m not an easy teacher. If I may say so, I will challenge you until you reach your limits. To put it plainly, I will frustrate you. I need to see progress from you every single day, and you must follow my instructions. If you choose not to, you can either return to being the Luna everyone despises or become the admired Luna warrior. The decision is yours,” she says with a chuckle.Just as I’m about to respond, I hear the warrior who was thrown my way groan as he attempts to rise. His leg is twisted at an unnatural angle, and he looks utterly horrified.Yet Natasha remains unfazed; she merely clicks her tongue and remarks, “This is just the start, Richard. You’re a warrior, so act like one. Go to the hospital and get yourself treated. I’ve heard the pack healer is unavailable; she’s on emergency leave. Be back here in three
