“Kylan,” I snapped, glaring at him. “This isn’t a joke.”
“What?” he asked, holding up his hands with a smirk. “I’m just saying, they’re clearly not ordinary kids. Might as well embrace it.”
Kieran rolled his eyes but still extended his fist toward Kylan. They bumped knuckles, their moment of shared amusement making my blood boil.
