LILITH’S POV Everything she mentioned in the first minutes of conversation is viable information, more important than the scraps I’ve been able to gather. But, there’s something about her sudden appearance and everything that’s going on that doesn’t sit right with me. “Lilith…” I introduce myself now. “Just Lilith.” “Yeah, I heard of you. The concubine he bought from an underground human auction house and brought back suddenly. You caused a stir the day you arrived.”

she whispered. She did not speak the next but willed the knowledge to him. Each one a seed, Lillith’s children, birthed of corruption and sin and a suppurating sore upon creation. They latch onto the living, sending tendrils deep into flesh. It is not a pleasant thing. They need to find sustenance quickly or perish, and only living flesh will do. Holes in the fabric of creation through which she spreads like a disease. She, male/male, hermaphrodite, seeks dominion through her children. She is not a kind mother, your father’s sister. How could such things come to worship him, he wondered.

I whispered, “the blood, the war, her suffering… all because I loved her?” The Priestess didn’t answer. She didn’t need to. The temple doors creaked faintly, and I felt another presence slip in before I saw her. Lilith. Her perfume, sharp and sweet, like poisoned honey, filled the air. “I was wondering how long it would take for you to crawl back here,” she said softly. The Priestess bowed her head, stepping away. “This is not the place…” “It’s exactly the place,” Lilith interrupted, her tone laced with venom. “Tell me, Priestess, does the Moon bless adulterers now? Or only fools?”

He scanned me, like goods on display at an auction center, trying to figure out what I'm worth. “Who are you?” He asked in a deep rasping voice. At first, I was scared, but Lexi fueled me with energy and I felt my body and mind strengthened. “I am Lilith, daughter to the former Beta of Green Forest Pack, Luna Queen of the Black Hound Pack, bearer of the gift of the priestess.” I felt a wave of power flow through me as I said those words. Adding the extra details was unnecessary, but I must admit… it felt good.

But it was the introduction of three witches in particular that captured my attention. “This is Lilith,” Eirlys said, motioning toward a petite girl, no older than sixteen, with raven-black hair cut short around her sharp, angular face. Her dark eyes gleamed with intelligence far beyond her years. “Lilith can manipulate mirrors.” Lilith gave me a small, knowing smile. “I can do so many things with reflection,” she explained, her voice almost too casual for the deadly power she described. I nodded, impressed but slightly unsettled by the ease with which she spoke. There was something about her that screamed danger despite her youth. What the hell?

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

It is full of chocolate, letters, flowers, and other things in a romantic way. She is what every man desires. She's pretty, smart, and has a body of a model. Small waist, big bust, big bum, small face, and not to mention she's 5'6 while I'm 4'11. Not like other beautiful and famous girls, Hilary is such a humble and kind person. Also, the power and money she holds, she's rich and her family owns a famous company in this city. Just imagine how perfect she is? This how good Hilary's life is.

Clarabelle continued, walking away from Gabriella. Mary also quickly got up on her feet and hid behind Gabriella. “Th… that's not who you think it is, Gabriella,” she said softly. “I know,” Gabriella replied, her brows furrowing as a drop of sweat rolled down the side of her face. “You can call me Lilith. Clarabelle, your friend, was kind enough to lend me her body so I could pay a visit to the world Eva created. It's a shame she had to die for me to be able to take her place,” Clarabelle said as she stopped walking.

Behind her, distant howls rose hunters, traitors, monsters who would steal what was not theirs. "Hold on, my love. Please, just a little farther," the woman whispered, tears mingling with the rain on her cheeks. The little girl whimpered softly, tiny hands clutching at her mother’s cloak. The woman reached a cave, her sanctuary of last hope. She was Lilith, witch of rare power, wife to a wolf duke far from home, and mother to a child both worlds would kill to claim. Their daughter, a hybrid of witch magic and wolf blood, was the key to untold power.
