Queen Zelda had a chain wrapped around her arm and connected to the chain was a large beast that I had never ever seen before. It had a large snout with rows of teeth arranged in its mouth, curving out of it and displayed on the outside. It roared so loud that I could feel the ground underneath me shake and vibrate. As if his roar was a command, the ground vibrated and I could see a crack beginning to form. It ran from the beast straight between my legs and straight to the infirmary. The ground then began opening up and I had to shift so that I wouldn't fall into the large hole that was beginning to open up.

Zelda ran her fingers over the hilt of a beautifully forged sword. "Who would send this?" Beta Kael glanced in my direction for the briefest moment before replying, "Perhaps someone who believes in you more than you think." Zelda said nothing, but I noticed how her grip tightened around the sword. I turned and walked away before she could look up. There was still much to be done. That night, I stood atop a hill overlooking the battlefield, watching as Zelda's army prepared for war. They were stronger now; better armed, better trained. The enemy no longer had their alliances to rely on. Soon, the battle would begin.
