She wanted him to stay. She enjoyed watching both of them spar more than she enjoyed streaming N*****x. "No I'm not" David was quick to say. He could see right through her cunning mind. Lisa was a Cunning but very smart woman, she was observant and didn't waste time studying humans. Back in highschool, some people thought she was some psychic but she wasn't. She was just a gifted child with brains.

“David’s finally asleep in his office. How long are you gonna keep pretending you don’t want this, or are you going to fuck your brother’s fiancée on his own desk?” Lisa’s voice was low and teasing as she leaned against the doorframe of the dimly lit executive floor at 10:47 PM. The rest of the building was quiet, most lights off, but David’s office down the hall still had the glow of his monitor, he had dozed off during another late merger call.

What’s going on?” Lisa’s smirk widened as she lazily tapped her nails against the armrest, her gaze lingering on Damon, savoring the tension in the room. “Oh, Alpha,” she said sweetly, her voice dripping with mock innocence. “I’ve been waiting for this moment. I have something very important to share.” Damon’s fists clenched at his sides. “Then speak,” he snapped. “What is it?” Lisa’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she placed a hand on her stomach.

“This world is nothing but liars.” Dante slid his arm around her waist, his lips brushing her hair. “Then let’s be the best liars of them all.” Their eyes lingered on their daughter, the wolf and his queen watching their heir sleep, their reign carved in blood, their future balanced on lies. For now, it was enough.

They both glanced at each other, lost for words. “I hate this amnesia,” she uttered and took a deep sigh. “I hate how Gavin always carries everything and tells me not to worry about things when everything is obviously not fine.” A bitter smirk appeared on her lips. “That only means that he loves you so much,” David uttered. “Wanna know a story?” He asked to change the topic. “What story?” She asked. He successfully captured her eyes. “I once fell for Larisa,” he mentioned, wearing that tender smile. Luna's eyes widened and even glanced at Leo to ask if it was true. Leo just nodded at her.

Wayne asked with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. David gulped at the mention of Lisa. He had stopped by her office to give her a kiss on the way here but she had not been there. He had found it somewhat strange because she always told him when she was stepping out of her office. Now he knew the reason for her absence; The Cobra had gotten to her first. Wayne still had Lisa in conference room A because he had not wanted her to say a word to David before he had a chance to talk to him. “Yes Mr. Blackstone.” He looked like he was about to burst into tears and Wayne didn’t mind. It wasn’t going to be the first time he had made a grown man cry.

Jessy's expression looked very excited, the girl looked impatient to taste the rows of food that looked appetizing. "David, you're David Lebron right?" Suddenly someone called David, the man automatically turned to that person. David smiled broadly when he realized the person who called him was Lisa, his friend. They are college friends and haven't seen each other in a long time. Lisa has the posture of a Victorian model, any "straight" man would be attracted to her.
