Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

He asks warmly, an affectionate twinkle in his eye. “Oh, don’t say that. I’m so tired of getting credit for things that just so happened to occur in my general vicinity.” I complain, slumping back and rubbing my full belly. “Not that I don’t appreciate the compliments… I just… perfection is an impossible thing to live up to… and I am so far from perfect it’s laughable. I don’t want to end up with a reputation that I’m destined to fall short of – I’m only human after all.” A moment after the words leave my mouth, I realize they aren’t true. “I mean, not human, but I’m just a person like everyone else.”

I read this entire book I love this series, wonderful writing excellent story I paid for the entire book each chapter. so when I went to read the next book I went back to this book to look up a couple of things and I have to pay for it again. I don't understand I paid for the book.

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

Married to my sister's husband

Married to my sister's husband

She was my soul mate. “I am losing myself, love. I am slowly losing it, seeing your look-alike every day. Every day, she tries so hard to be good to me. She takes care of our son and cooks for me, but I never eat them, but she doesn't give up. She is too perfect for me, too perfect that she is changing everything around me. I miss your imperfections and flaws, I miss being imperfect with you. I miss it when we don't know how to take care of Ryan, and we panic.” I laughed softly, slowly tracing her face with my fingertips.

It really confuses me when Olivia back and of course they still married and also he is married to ophelia and he called ophelia wife gush…. This is driving me crazy who is really his real wife then???????? Gives me headache grrrr lol
Noah
I luv d story, thrives on emotional turmoil, misunderstanding n slow unraveling of relationship. D way Ryder transition fr grief n resistance to truly falling for Ophelia add emotional weight to d story, making their luv feel authentic n well-earned. Great job Evelyn in capturing tat transformation.

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

I chuckled nervously. He smiled subtly and looked into my eyes, “there’s something wrong with everyone in this world, princess, but that doesn’t make them any less of a person. Having flaws is better than being fake. No one is perfect and they don’t have to be perfect. I find the imperfections about a person more attractive than their whitewashed version of themselves.” “Really?” “Yeah, you see. We say we need to find a mate or a soulmate to complete us. Why do you think fantasies like this exist? Why do you think we feel incomplete in the first place?”

One of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read in this platform. Well written, strong characters with deep backgrounds, a more than decent emotional rollercoaster… OMG! This author has my standing ovation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

The Perfect Rejection

The Perfect Rejection

he said before following me out into the hall. As we walked to the house, I stared down at my feet and realized they were right, I did have a limp. My foot touched the ground at an angle and wouldn't stay straight no matter how hard I tried. I growled in frustration and plopped my crippled ass onto the couch. "You okay?" "I hate this, I finally manage to get away from all the pain but then the scars follow me and continue to make my life fucking miserable," I growled.

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

The best she could hope for now was a civil relationship with her daughter until this Christmas tree fiasco she'd created was over and done with. Laura could see her reflection in the mirror across the room. She looked haggard, and she looked every one of her sixty-four years. She was old, and she had no purpose in life except to do what she called good deeds. If the truth were known, she didn't really do good deeds. She had ideas for good deeds that other people carried out with a lot of hard work, then she got the credit for those deeds. She heard her name on the local radio and TV news, and it was always her picture in the paper, never the drones who brought her ideas into fruition. In a

My Swimmer Stepbrother's Forbidden Claim

My Swimmer Stepbrother's Forbidden Claim

One moment of love at a time. Until it became this. This beautiful, chaotic, imperfect life. Theirs. Completely, utterly theirs. And neither of them would change a single thing. Not the struggles. Not the pain. Not the fear. Because all of it had led here. To this moment. This peace. This love. Perfect in all its imperfect glory. Exactly as it was meant to be. Forever. Their forever. Always.

she continued, voice barely above the rain, “the only thing I was afraid of was never getting the chance to choose you again.” His chest tightened. “Lisa…!!” She reached for him then, fingers curling into the front of his shirt, not pulling him close….just anchoring herself. “I don’t want perfect,” she said. “I want honest. I want this—whatever this is—messy and real.” Grey rested his forehead against hers, breath mingling, rain blurring the space between them. “You have me,” he said. “No filters. No omissions. Even the parts I hate.”

Perfect Life

Even my parents have learned to leave and take Maggie with them. That just goes to show that they are wild beasts that do not deserve to live in a functioning society. But they are here and everyone just has to deal with them. But me, being the scared loser that I am, just lock myself in my room away from them. And hey, it's worked so far. "Miss Miracle," Mr. Asshole's voice breaks through my train of thought. "Since you were so obviously paying attention, please read me what is written on this board."

Almost Perfect, Never Me

Almost Perfect, Never Me

It's our fifth year together, and I accompany my fiance, Theo Montague, to see the aurora he has always yearned to see. Fortune favors us that night as vivid green lights stretch across the snow-covered plain. He wraps his arms around me from behind and suddenly murmurs, "It's beautiful. Too bad we're still one step short of perfect." I freeze for a moment and ask him what we're missing. He doesn't answer, and I don't press him, either. After all, I've heard this phrase far too many times. When I go to great lengths to get him the out-of-print book he has his sights on for ages, he sighs. "We're still one step short of perfect." When we move into our beautifully furnished house and f
