But it wasn't just any wolf. It was an absolute monster which stood easily four feet tall at the shoulder with its fur as dark and terrifying as a starless midnight. It broke out from the woods, tearing off the leaves of the trees with less effort, and growling at the sight of the man. “You can't take anyone from my family.!” Mark grinned as he shifted under the bright moonlight. His bones cracked, and his skin stretched beyond its limits, tearing to become as tough as that of a wolf. He growled at the phantom, just as the phantom growled at him. Like two behemoths, they collided, and the green grasses on the ground fell victim to their battle.

Instead, she continued flicking through the stack of papers in front of her. "Wait, what?" Minnow burst out laughing so hard she had to hold her stomach. "Werewolves like in the movies?" She giggled but stopped when everyone stayed quiet and severe looking. "Seriously, wolfmen that run around on two legs? Have you ever caught one? It must be a very slow business." Of course, her being sleep-deprived didn't help as the giggles bubbled up again. Cecil stormed over and grabbed her forcefully by the arm. Minnow gasped as he dragged her across the floor towards a steel door at the back.

The air raid siren went off just as they started the engine and the American soldiers shouted
