Kara whispered to her husband. Frank shook his head. "It must have something to do with the news Jeremy received. Let's just wait." A few moments later, the twins came back singing a song. They walked sideways, holding a white tart cake decorated with strawberries and a small candle. Kara and the others clapped their hands, singing along. "Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you."

Maybe she saw my expression before I decided to change my mind. As we walk down the stairs, I see the twins, Carla and Clarita sitting in the large living room. They stand the moment they see me arrive. "Luna." They say and bow in unison "Hey, ladies. How were your mating nights?" I teasingly ask with a smile. One twin blush and smile shyly while the other replies, "Oh, Luna, it was hot! Best night of my life!" She breathes, looking like she's in a daze. I bet she's recalling the wonderful time she had with her man at the moment.

“You don’t look so good.” She looked at Hayden. He looked just as worn out. “That makes two of us,” she said breathlessly, managing a smile. Titan propped up the twins against a tree. As the cold rain droplets trickled down onto their foreheads, both of the twins began to stir. One of them moaned and furrowed his brow. The other turned himself onto to his side, like someone intent on going back to sleep. “Smoke! Mirrors!” Hissed Titan, giving each of them a shake, trying to rouse them.

she said with a superior smirk at the gobsmacked look on their faces, they looked like a couple of gaping fish. “Twins... having… twins” Sebestian said, gaping back at the screen. He looked at the little jellybeans, shaking his head, it was obvious now that she had pointed it out. He looked up at Allen, seeing the same embarrassed, awestruck look on his face that surely mirrored his own. “You wondered if we would have twins” he whispered, his heart skipping entire series of beats in his chest.

“Relax. Your time’s coming.” He leaned back, smirking. “Yeah, well… I’ve already got my eye on someone or should I say someones.” That caught my attention. “Oh yeah?” I turned toward him. “Who?” He didn’t even hesitate. “The Silvercrest twins. Sloane and Nova.” I frowned slightly. “The Silvercrest twins?” Lucian let out a low whistle. “Yeah. When I tell you they’re beautiful… they’re beyond that. I’m just hoping they’re my mates when they turn eighteen.”

*Nobody moves without my signal. The twins were asleep down the hall.

Maggie said, holding them up for Sarah to see. “Oh this are the little Angels you’ve always been yapping about” "They're beautiful, Maggie. You must be so proud," Sarah said, smiling at the twins. "I am," Maggie said, feeling a swell of emotion in her chest. Sarah looked around the room, taking in the sight of all the guests. "Well, come on. Let me show you around. There's someone I want you to meet," Sarah said, taking Maggie's hand. Maggie followed Sarah through the crowd, Luke and Leah still in tow. She was starting to feel more relaxed now, surrounded by the warmth of the party.

“You’ve got nerve, Xavier. Flirting with me all week, and then you turn around and sleep with my best friend on a cruise? Really living up to that billionaire charm, aren’t you?” Xavier, now fully aware that he looked ridiculous, stammered, “I didn’t mean—” Before he could finish, the door flew open again, and the twins peeked in, their faces full of mischief. “Is it over yet?” they giggled, clearly enjoying the chaos they’d caused. Xavier shot them a death glare. “You two! Get out of here, right now!” The twins burst into laughter, their high-pitched giggles echoing in the room as they darted off down the hallway, leaving Xavier standing there, exasperated.
