We were sitting in the small, cozy kitchen of my apartment. The twins were finally asleep down the hall, their bedroom door cracked open just enough so I could hear their steady, quiet breathing.

Star and her friends shared one last round of hugs with the twins, their hearts full of love and joy at having been a part of such a special celebration.
