I recalled how I imagined the fields of Concord, Massachusetts – where the story of Little Women took place. In the story, Jo March's book was criticized and the publisher said that it was unacceptable due to the protagonist not being married in the ending – which was completely twisted!

Opening the first page, I was not suprised to see the Dedication, I read it silently and I was amazed to find out that the book was written by a Young Woman of 18. ' So there are Young Writers? ' I asked myself feeling suprised. Almost all the books we read in literature class were written by old Men and Women with some of the Deceased.

She left it to me before she moved to Canada and passed away.” “Oh, I'm sorry.” “It's okay. It's been a while. She was a bookworm and had a hobby to left a box of her favorite books in every place she left”

Even Lexa herself wasn't definitely sure but was only giving it a tral, turns out it actually worked. Lexa carried the book, but it was too big for her puny hands and sort of heavy, but she managed to take it with her to a particular little seat. Immediately she sat down, she opened the thick book and started going through it. She didn't have time to read that much, so she was only skimming the pages. But some minutes later, a slow smile creeped on her lips, and she jumped up happily. The little girl was very glad to get what she was searching for.

It was a shame the library didn’t take into account situations when a reader couldn’t return books due to health issues. I had to admit, my mother had good taste. I had read these books myself and especially loved Little Women and Dandelion Wine. I had always thought she preferred women’s romances — passionate dukes, charming princes, delicate ladies. Well, I was wrong, and apparently there was still a lot about her I didn’t know. I now had a rough idea of her taste, yet I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t asked which books she had already read and which she hadn’t.
