Live To Eat Novels & Stories

"Ms. Simpson, why aren't you eating? Oh, right—all these ingredients came from the cheap food you sell on your livestream. "I stayed up all night ordering them and putting these meals together, so everyone could see who you really are!" So, here it came. I kept my expression calm, but my mind reacted. When I opened the box earlier, something already felt off. The meat inside was all semi-processed, and the corn clearly came out of a can. Coincidentally, those exact items were part of my recent livestream products, so I held back and didn't eat. Sure enough, Gracie was just waiting for a chance to make a scene and embarrass me in front of everyone.

.📍 Living With him 📍 [ Taming Mr popular] Episode 18 By Adebayo dolapo. Mrs Rachel POV 💣 My plans are going the way I want it, I can't wait to have you as the wife of my son... I laughed slightly... I already sent a maid to be giving me free back about them , I can't wait for my son be in love with miss crazy 🙄🙄🤣. Ma'am am ready, I heard my p.a voice.

However, not anymore. I was going to make up for seven years of missing out. I chomped down on my food, not caring about the mess I made or what anyone thought. The comments in my livestream were blowing up. [I'm starving... She's eating so well!] [That's the way to do it! Treat yourself!] [Forget that jerk. Food is life!] Right when I was really getting into my meal, my phone rang. It was a number I did not recognize. I picked up and heard a shaky voice.

My stomach decides to launch a protest, the obnoxious grumbling impossible to hide. “When’s the last time you ate?” Abel’s tone is unhappy. “I dunno. Breakfast.” Has it really been that long? “Me too. Let’s grab a bite to eat.” Sensing my hesitation, he applies peer pressure at its best. “It’s only food, Livie. Not a lifetime commitment.” "At least put on a damn shirt!" I pout and ignore the way he smirks knowingly at me. The food tent overflows with hungry musicians and stage crew. At least they are more interested in their meals than me, most of them anyway.

Liv winced. “Sorry we didn’t offer you anything. We were trying to make something new for breakfast and Alecia burned it.” Alecia didn’t miss a beat. “She’s not here to eat. You said it was urgent, so say it and leave.” Val didn’t even look at her. She kept her eyes on Liv. “You haven’t eaten yet?” Liv shook her head. Kennedy shrugged like, obviously. “What were you trying to make?” Val asked. Liv glanced at the kitchen, embarrassed. “Aloo paratha. We watched three videos and somehow set off the alarm anyway.”

I asked to crack a joke. "Yes anything wrong with that?" she asked so I shook my head. When our food arrived we started eating. "You sure you are fine with that?" I asked once again because I don't think that will ease her hunger. "It tastes good Alton you don't have to worry about me," she responded assuring me that she is fine eating that bowl filled with grass. "I don't understand why people chose to torture themselves by eating that kind of food," I commented. "To live a long life.To help the environment. For a healthy lifestyle." she responded while eating her salad.

The dining table was already set rice, stew, fried plantain, and chicken. We didn’t waste time. Forks clinked, mouths worked, conversation flowed lazily between bites. Sophia leaned against the counter, watching us with amusement. “You two are eating like you didn’t have food at that big fancy event.” Olivia spoke with her mouth half full. “Because this tastes better.” I nodded in agreement. “Facts. Event food tastes like stress and fake smiles.” We all laughed. Then I noticed Liv’s phone light up beside her plate. She glanced at it, then picked it up without hesitation, her thumbs moving fast. For a few moments, she went quiet, smiling at the screen.

Liza said taking out the plates to set the table. The other helped and the table was set fast. “I don’t even understand why he wants breakfast ready on time when he doesn’t even eat here.” This came as a shock to Zoe, if he does not eat here then where does he eat? “Where does he eat then?” she asked, and Liza looked around before answering. “He hunts, he only eats here when he wants to but most of the time he hunts to eat.” No wonder his breath smelled like raw meat.

I list the many advantages I have. Levin's eyebrows furrow, "Why don't you need to eat? Don't you need it to survive?" He questions, confusion all over his face. "I can eat, I enjoy the flavour. Yet, eating was seen as a waste of time. They made it so that I can live on the least amount of food possible." I reply to his query. "How long were you there?" Dixie asks, looking much more concerned than Levin.

Life’s too short to always choose the apple. I don’t bother grabbing a plate to eat like a mannered person I probably should. Who needs proper table manners when it’s midnight and no one’s around to judge? I throw caution to the wind and ditch the plate, opting instead for just a fork to shovel the food into my mouth like a starving animal. It’s not pretty, but damn, it’s satisfying.
