She was sure everyone had hoped for it at least once in their lives, even a man like her husband, a soul who feeds off of havoc, thriving in chaos. Even if he didn’t, this was a special case, an exception for him to put aside his hunger for strife. Their marriage. He didn’t have to hope for their lives to be like a movie, for them to have an ending of happily ever after, as if they were ripped from the pages of some cliché romance novel.
