Dirty Valentine’s Secret

Dirty Valentine’s Secret

The Horizon As the sun fully rose, the "World Without Code" began its first day. It would be a difficult day. There would be shortages, confusion, and the lingering threat of those who still craved the old order. But as I watched a small bird landing on the wreckage of the Citadel's external sensors, I knew we had won the only war that mattered. We had given the future back to the one thing that could actually handle it: the unknown. Ethan stood up, offering me his hand. His grip was warm, human, and wonderfully imperfect. "Where to next, Aria? No maps. No GPS. No predictive destination."

HIS DARKEST SHADE (BOOK-THREE)

HIS DARKEST SHADE BOOK-THREE ~Prologue~ “Even if you end up hating me for it.” His tone was vicious. “I might scare you,” he continued, his gaze roaming over her trembling form, “but they are far worse—formidable, vicious… and willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want.” He gestured toward her. “Including you.” “Never.” She shook her head, her voice trembling but firm. “I’m not scared of your words. You’re just trying to scare me so I’ll listen to you!”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Horror stood above shattered kingdoms. Mountains collapsed beneath its shadow. The world was ending. Thomas recognized the battlefield immediately. It was their world. His world. 10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

After the Last Autumn

After the Last Autumn

But just as he lifted his foot to climb down, he accidentally stepped on the curtain. In the next second, his body tipped backward. With a scream, he disappeared out the window. A few seconds later, a heavy thud sounded from downstairs. Trembling violently, June rushed to the window and looked down. Morgan lay motionless on the ground below, and a dark pool of blood slowly spread beneath him. By the time the ambulance arrived, he had already stopped breathing. He died before they could save him. After that, June voluntarily resigned from her position as station chief and quietly left the base.

he said. "Yes," she said. "I know." Felix appeared from the inner room. "Third room documented," he said. "All three rooms are complete. I have a full photographic record." "Sent to the secure channel," she said. "Uploading now," he said. "Amara will have it within ten minutes." She held the door. The security team was outside. The woman was still on the phone. The island was doing its pre-dawn thing, the specific quality of dark that existed in the last hour before the sky began to change, the dark that was about to be something else.

Then she looked back at the map and her hands came up and the silver light came with them, warm and controlled and absolutely ready, illuminating the route Nadia had marked in soft silver as she traced it with one finger. Everyone in the room looked at it. Nobody said anything. Because some things did not need commentary. Some things were simply what they were. Lyra Collins, standing in a Moonveil war room at midnight, silver light in her hands, her mate beside her and her people around her and forty three strangers in a northern forest who did not yet know that she was coming. "We leave in an hour," she said. Everyone moved. And Thorian Blackthorn, Alpha of Moonveil, stood beside his Luna a

The horizon began to ripple — not violently, but rhythmically, like a heartbeat. Aria’s breath caught. “Do you feel that?” Killian frowned, scanning the distance. “It’s coming from the east.” A faint glow pulsed there — not silver, not black, but crimson. Aria stepped closer, her chest tightening. “That’s not possible…” Killian turned sharply. “What is it?” She swallowed hard. “A third force. The Blood Realm.” He tensed. “You mean—” “Yes,” she whispered. “Something… someone’s waking up.”

“Really?” He ran his hands through his hair. “Yes, really. Unlike everyone else around here, I'm not blind to all the mystifying occurrences happening in the world. That is why I'm here...to put an end to it. And you’re the ideal candidate that I need on my team.” I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. “My condolences to you about your sister, but you should know...flight 823, the plane she was supposed to be on, mysteriously vanished,” he revealed, still without emotion.
