He continued to scream. The demon looked over him, before bursting into laughter. The laughter was to mock him, and waste his time. Klaus Lavon knew this. He glared at the demon and squeezed his neck even harder. Yet, he would not budge. "Kill me if you want," he started to speak, allowing a bitter chuckle to escape his lips. "But what's done is done. You cannot fight him, he has your silly human female in his possession, and he is stronger than you know."

It would also make some sense of why she could so easily slip into many different version of herself, honoring them and calling on the will to embody each sliver of herself. Her defiant answer was just the thing to kick in Blood’s lust for her energy, to taste the essence of what kept her body animated until there was nothing left. This moment made him understand why demons and succubi were often mistook for each other. Having the opportunity to ignore her needs and drink her soul dry of its life force showed him what separated them. As a demon, he wasn’t a slave to his thirst for it though, it was his choice to drink a little or all of her or none at all, unlike a succubus. For that gift, h

Although they don't look like ordinary people with different hair colors, eyes, and species, except for Camila, I'm not afraid of them. I'm having a good time chatting with them, and I learned much about who they are. Saye, Arlo, and Jippis are demons. I thought demons were scary and ugly looking, red with horns, and had a snake-like tongue, always red and surrounded by fire to represent hell that wants to eat your soul. You always see them on Halloween posters or costumes; Saye, Arlo, and Jippis don't look like that. They don't look scary at all. I feel like they came out of a comic book, like a superhero.

It’s either that or he might be snoozing somewhere as the demon epitome of sloth. “Zarah, can you hit it?” Jackie, who is helping to keep me steady on the edge of a water tank, whispers while I try to take aim at a lizard demon crawling at the third building where the others are trying to keep it cornered through the fire escape. The lizard is a very agile demon since it can climb on walls and reach places that hunters commonly have trouble accessing. The most efficient method is cornering it and striking from a distance. A lizard demon is about the size of a toddler and they are always in groups but spread out when they are getting chased, which is why our troops are fanned out as well. Gal

Now the general feels the power coming from this Lycan and knows that this particular Lycan can't be touched, but that doesn't mean that they can't play with him. The first couple of lower Demons attack Zachariah, which he manages to dodge, and then swings out with the Gurkha Kukri knife and connects with at least one of the Demons. The Demon hisses and Zachariah smiles as there is a smudge of black liquid on the edge of the blade. Unfortunately, Zachariah is unable to find or get a kill shot as the Demons all take turns in attacking him.

Especially Juniper and Ahlum when they said it. “That’s what Katastrofi is!?” Vera and Freya yelled at the same time, jaw dropped at the demon standing there. Unable to react properly, Tristan began to tell them about the demons. “Mhm. There are four corrupted demons- Katastrofi from Aziel. Delora from Yizar. The other two are unknown to the world.” Juniper and Ahlum exchanged nervous glances, certainly not wanting to tell them they have already met Delora. But those two demons were extremely powerful.

fast more and more bubbles emerge from different lava spots. The hot bubbles take shape into a form that looks like a human but also not. I look at the body of fire, horns, and black eyes and decide it must be a demon. I count them quickly and realize I am surrounded by 6 demons. ''Where are you going lovely?'' One says with a sizzling voice.

Lorelle felt her knees go weak and she could not stand still. "Aren't th-they the demons that were trapped? Why… why are they coming out all of a sudden?" she muttered. As a disciple of Immortal Venerable Balman, Lorelle knew of the existence of the demons, but the Godly Region had sealed the land with a powerful enchanted barrier. It was impossible for the demons to escape. Meanwhile, Harrison wore a solemn face as he was shell-shocked. He noticed several powerful figures leading the large group of demons. One of them looked majestic in white armor. The women beside him wore long skirts and had beautiful faces as well as slim figures.

I wasn't even surprised when he stopped the blow smoothly, his slim fingers wrapped around my ankle as he yanked forward causing me to lose my balance. My body started plummet towards the ground.
