Auden’s Blessing
Loki covered his eyes and lowered his head slightly, but the corners of his lips curved upward unmistakably.
A long, long moment passed.
He crouched down slightly, lifted me into his arms, and began spinning around in place.
“Ah… put me down. I’m going to fall in a second.” My long hair flew in the wind as I clutched his shoulders in fright. “Loki, stop spinning, I’m afraid I’ll fall…”
I didn’t know how long it took before he finally set me down, leaning against the tree trunk and panting. “I’m really dizzy.”
