Loki Mischief Novels & Stories

Jordan scratched the back of his head. I stared blankly at him - once, twice. Then I burst into fits of laughter. It was so long, I just couldn't stop it. Jordan stood still, his face serious. "What? You think I'm joking?" "I meannnn" It was already weird that I had to go through Mishap curse and now I was dead? What kind of sick joke was that? "Yeah, I knew you wouldn't believe." He shrugged. "You see, we were shot and then we drowned into the pool and tada, we just appeared here. I think Angel Gabriel is outside but ...."

"You're sure?" "Yes. I want to marry you, Lord Kincade." "Brock," he corrected gently. "Badger," she said, smiling and sniffling. He chuckled, remembering how when they'd first met she'd told him his name meant badger. "Yes. Your badger," he vowed. What would she think when she learned that Aiden had a pet badger at the castle? It was one he had rescued as a young cub. The badger now trundled about the castle as if it were the true master of it, nesting in various rooms and becoming grumpy whenever disturbed. Aiden had tried several times to return it to the wild, but the stubborn creature had held its ground. Brock smiled, realizing he was much like his namesake. He would not let Lennox cha

"This isn't the 19th century. We can protect ourselves just fine." "Speak for yourself, Billie. I quite find it lovely," Shaylee said, giving Caci goo-goo eyes. I sighed and sat back down in my chair, watching the fire burn. "Do you want the wolf back? You seem to have a bond with him," Andrew asked me. "No, not tonight," I replied. "But what's his name?" "Loki. It means mischief," Andrew smirked. Of course it does. He looks like a wild one. I don't know him well, but I bet he beats his opponents every time. Plus, he has the upper hand with his wolf.

One warrior said. "We aren't pulling werewolves into the barbaric ways of Lycans." Draconian said, making me widen my eyes. Then the leader guy kicked him under the table and I giggled. "He likes hitting you." I said. "He likes to say stupid things." The leader guy said to Draconian. "You know you can talk with your mind link, right?" I looked at Draconian. "I could, but then how would the Mistress eavesdrop on us." He teased.

After some awkward banter and a crash course in animal care, she was left alone to tackle the chores. Five hours later, James returned to find chaos. No tasks had been completed, and "Patrick" was half-stuck in a hole in the stable, legs flailing helplessly. "Need a hand?" James asked, stifling a laugh. “Little help would be nice,” she grumbled from the hole. Somehow, by the end of the day, the work got done. Or at least, it *looked* done. Mr. Bradley, thoroughly impressed with "Patrick’s" efforts, even paid her in full.

I repeated. He leaned down to wipe dust from his shoes. "You're Riri Chance, my best friend from high school. Seventeen years old, recent graduate, no boyfriend since birth. Your perfume has a hint of musk and lavender. Oh, and sometimes your big, bright almond eyes are scary, especially when you're looking in space like that." I threatened to slap his arm.

"They’re just jealous. Nobody gets a private dinner with Josh Adeyemi unless they’re a 'happening babe' or a 'Big girl'" "It wasn't a dinner, Loveth. It was a... an intervention," I whispered back, my fingers gripping my pen. "Intervention!?" Loveth looked lost. "Intervention of what?" I didn't know if I could trust Loveth. I just kept quiet and tried to concentrate on what the lecturer was saying. But my thoughts were deep. How did the letter appear on my bed without the lock being broken? How did the photo get inside my locker? The metal door was still locked, and only I knew the four-digit code.

"The den and anything in it is off limits. It's technically a crime scene and we can't let anyone in there." "Oh." "Besides, after what you and your friends have been through, you deserve all of this." Bobby carried on. "Also Lucas will kill us if we—ow!" While Sierra's swift elbow into Bobby's side had obviously meant to be subtle, Chloe's keen eyes caught it. Maybe it was because she was a werewolf or maybe it was years of constantly having to watch everything going on to protect herself. Either way, she caught the movement and tilted her head slightly in confusion. What did Lucas Wolfe have to do with all of this?

My vision was clearer, my hearing more acute, and I could smell the metallic scent of blood in the air. Savannah and I lunged into the fray. I targeted a rogue who was about to pounce on one of our pack members. With a swift movement, I sank my teeth into its hind leg, pulling it back and away. The rogue snarled and tried to twist free, but I tightened my grip, using my weight to pin it down. More rogues appeared, but we were relentless. I leaped at another, slashing with my claws and knocking it to the ground. The rogue struggled, but a quick bite to the throat ended the fight.
