A Lonely Death
"How did I give birth to someone so cold-blooded?"
Mom clutched her cheek, glaring at Grandma. "And how do I have a mother as unreasonable as you? You've lost your mind over that walking disaster!"
Their argument went nowhere. In the end, Grandma could only leave in despair.
Watching her retreating figure, I wanted to follow, but the moment Mom walked away, my soul was pulled along with her.
Maybe my attachment to her was too strong. My soul could only stay near Mom, never straying far.
