Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Andrew replied, calm and direct. Debra blushed, and Erica grinned, "You know the rules. Gotta answer all my questions to get in." "Sure." "First question! What's the longest river in the country?" "The Khoralith." "Second! What's the second longest?" "The Frostglen." "Third..." "Wrap it up. You're gonna make us late," Randy cut in, baffled by her random trivia. "Ugh, almost done. Quit interrupting." Erica swatted his hand. "Third question! What's the shortest river?"

I really like this book but why is it being dragged so much? Debra keeps getting herself in weird situations like the Island kidnapping and then her engagement kidnapping. I get the authors are paid by pages but if it’s too dragged then the readers eventually lose interest and move to finished books

The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

Brian took a deep breath and the started with his rehearsed speech. “I want to thank all of you for taking this meeting with me. As you all know, my brothers and I have asked for assistance with clearing Thomas River. Our initial dive was to clear the reeds that have been growing in the river, but the dive brought up some unexpected results. We have discovered numerous cars and other vehicles in the river, and we have concluded that with the current weather it poses a high risk not only for the Thomas Property, but for Buttershire as well.

MoonLight

He felt a low vibration in the tree-trunk, he lay both of his hands. “Luan?!” he calls. “My Dear moonlight” he said. A string of light came out from Aelius pinky, then climb up until it reaches the treetop. In the road of darkness, Stella saw a string of light wrapped around her pinky. Then another string of light appeared from the direction of Aelius. It was as if, he is reaching out for her.

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

(Stern female voice) Along with the loud voice that echoes through out the area, the dark night on the river turned bright like it was a day time. The entire place were the boat slowly drifting were shined by spot light from the Air and river banks, All of the sudden, there’s about a dozen men and woman, stood up on the both sides of the river, dressed in full dark green camo outfits, with their faces painted in camo paint, all pointing their rifles at the boat, all the red lasers fall on the rounded ball shield formations.

The Vampire King Married Death

The Vampire King Married Death

“They can when Guardian magic is involved.” Master Orion nodded slowly. “Ancient legends often described sacred rivers that remembered every life they touched.” “I always believed those stories were symbolic.” Nyx gently shook her head. “They were literal.” The conversation ended as the lights of Rivermoor appeared in the distance. The small town rested beside a broad river that curved gracefully through the valley. Wooden houses lined its banks, while fishing boats floated quietly near the docks. Unlike the villages they had passed earlier, Rivermoor remained lively. Lanterns illuminated the streets, merchants packed away their stalls, and children chased one another through the town square

he growled, trying to push himself up from the cot. "Stay down!" I ordered him. I grabbed the heavy iron poker from the side of the stove and stepped toward the window. Out on the black water, through the rising fog, a long, flat river barge was drifting slowly past the boathouse. It had no lights on. But on the bow, a man stood with a high-powered flashlight, sweeping the yellow beam across the riverbank trees. It wasn't the suit. It was a local river patrol—the secondary line the suit had hired to lock down the water routes leading to the northern border.

The Biker’s Obsession

The Biker’s Obsession

Chapter Twenty-Four That night, the motorcycle club set up camp deep inside the dark woods right beside a quiet, wide river. The water moved slowly, reflecting the pale light of the stars above. After the massive, violent chaos of the morning confrontation and the long, exhausting hours of riding down the black asphalt highway, every single person in the formation was completely spent.

Tennessee Breeds

Tennessee Breeds

They were over two hours away by land but from the amount of sunburn on her face and body, she’d been in that dingy for days. While it was true the river came from Decatur all the way to Tarron’s Ridge, it must have taken her days to get this far by water. Especially, if she had to depend on the water flow of the river rather than a motor or a sail. By vehicle, it was well over a two hour trip between their compounds. Breed couldn’t imagine Blade, the President of the Hade’s Messengers coming here. Breed, himself would never step foot in Alabama again. He had nothing there, he never had. He took one trip there years ago and would never go back for any reason.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The dawn in the A****n did not break; it bled. Light filtered through the triple-canopy rainforest in suffocating shades of bruised purple and sickly yellow. The air was no longer just humid; it was heavy, pressing against the skin like a wet wool blanket. Jack Miller stood at the edge of the "Silent River," staring into the abyss. The river didn't look like water. It looked like flowing obsidian. It was black, opaque, and terrifyingly smooth. There were no ripples, no eddies, no whitecaps. It moved with the sluggish, oily viscosity of mercury.

Miss Pai explained. "S-Silent River?" He repeated. "Yeah. They said this river was historical and that it was the longest river in this world. Although, I'm not sure if I believe it or not, like you it is my first time here also." She said at him while blending an herb in a glass. "...weird." Yman knitted his brows in puzzlement. "Why?" She asked. "Because wouldn't it be natural to call it the Longest River instead of the Silent River..."
