Look At The Ants Bible Verse の小説・ストーリー

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.

But at the front door, he said something, words leaving his tongue laboriously. "The Bible," he whimpered to me. Immediately, I ran back into his office, rummaging through the mess. It was in the most obvious place I didn't think to look in - on the last standing bookshelf, as the last standing book - the Hebrew Bible. And the irony was piercing - Abraham looked through every book that Ben owned except for the holy book itself. A book that would most like burn Abraham or his minion's hands if he were to touch it. Purposefully ignored, this sacred book had the parchments tucked throughout the pages of the 18th chapter of "2 Kings." My hands graced the leather cover, gliding over the "Holy Bib

"I've thought of that already. It's no big deal. I'll be fine anyway. We'll be fine, okay. Stay calm." I was quiet for a while. I had a bad feeling, my instincts weren't pessimistic about our stay there. I tried to distract myself but the silence wasn't helping. Then I remembered a verse I loved, from the bible that I even made into a song. Unconscious, I began to recite out loud. ✝ Psalms 91:5 "I shalt not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness;

"Becca, I can’t just—" "Hebrews 13:2," I cut him off, reciting the verse like a spell to keep the darkness at bay. "'Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.' Take the bed, Josh. It’s the only one I have." He gave a tired, lopsided grin—the kind that usually made the girls at the Faculty of Engineering faint in the hallways. "I’m definitely not an angel, Becca. You of all people should know that by now."

"Who are you? And why are you here?" Jericho held his book and looked at it "Do you know what this is ?" He asked as he pointed at the book. "A book that writes the names of those who are about to die?" "It's more than that" He said as he opened the book "This is called an antabulam, or what mortals would call 'A black note' something which God gave me when he made me. He made life, he made fate and then he made Death." Lucus said as he looked at his book.

Her dreams had grown increasingly violent—shadows chasing her through forests of fire, Arthur bleeding before the hidden altar, and the voice of Michael whispering a single word into her soul: Run. She rose from bed, the sheets drenched in cold sweat. Her Bible lay open at her bedside, though she didn’t remember opening it. Her eyes fell to the verse highlighted in crimson ink: “The fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.” A verse she had not marked herself. The sanctuary was quieter than usual when she stepped into the morning light. The birds, usually chirping with praise, were eerily silent. Something had shifted. The air felt denser. The ground seemed to hum.

"Correct. I pressed the button and answered the question again and again. She did it and answered four questions correctly but I still surpassed her. The freak almost yelled at me what the fuck is her problem? Then just one question left. Daniel Cruz who is acting as the mc announced. I won't bother pressing the button. I will talk. That's what I will do. "What is the shortest verse in the bible?" "John 11:35" I answered. "John 14:8," Loretta said. "Which says Jesus wept." I backed up my answer with what it said. "John 14: 8 is wrong." I bite down my lips nervously. "John 11:35 is correct!" The moment he announced that I heaved a sigh of relief. I was okay. My school cheered for me. I felt

He stopped one of the pages and started to read the chapters and the verse. “Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, from the tumult of those who do iniquity, who have sharpened their tongue like a sword. They aimed a bitter speech as their arrow, "To shoot from concealment at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him, and do not fear.” I look at Shiloh when he starts murmuring something, he is reciting the verse together with the Priest. “They hold fast to themselves an evil purpose;They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, “Who can see them?” ”,

She uttered and flipped the plates of her memo. "This will be our reference verse, Matthew chapter 7:7-8, so it is said here that when we ask, it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds… and to him who knocks, it will be opened." All ears were compressed to what she spoke. "Kindly open your Bibles and read the verse for yourselves."

“But Amanda... Isn't it bad that we live with her, we know what's happening; we've seen the bruises, yet we don't say or do anything?” “It's bad, I agree. But the fact that God said scorpion and snakes will not bite us because He has given us dominion, doesn't mean wherever we see one we should go and carry it.” She turns away, walks towards the bin by the front door and discards the things in her hand.
