So, he wouldn’t watch any evil happen to her. Then she crawled to the place she kept the holy book called “Bible” then grabbed it as she hastily flipped to the book of Isaiah 41: 10: Fear not, I am with you…” And having read it, she muttered a few lines of prayer, such prayers that have the semblance of the first verse of the Lord’s prayer. But it would have been lengthy if she was with her old man. She knew that her old man would spank/yell at her for saying such a short prayer for such a terrible dream.

'I-I didn't pray to God for this! Noticing the faint grimace on Julien's face and realizing that if she didn't control the situation well, Harrison might start suspecting something, Helena immediately adopted a serious tone and said, "Sir, don't be too surprised. Remember, in Matthew 7:7: 'Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.' This is the grace God gives to His believers!" She continued, "Even during the most difficult times in my life, I persisted in praying to God every day, and I used this scripture to encourage myself, reminding myself that God will never abandon me!"

"I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" "Wonderful, a round of applause, please" "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things have become new...where is that in the Bible?" "John 7:38" "No, that one is 'He that believes in me as the scripture had said: out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water'...you get?" "Oh, my bad. Misplaced it. Thanks a lot" "You are welcome"

Abuo dragged Ofu down as he heard another strange sound, which was caused by another grass cutter that was slithering around the bushes. “Your head is meant to be below here and not up there,” Abuo said. “True! I was just trying to make sure that there were no warriors around here.” Ofu sat and spread his legs on top of the wrapper. Tiny brown insects passed him with stiff, regular steps. He followed the insects with his eyes until they disappeared into the green leaves. Ato remembered when his father had told him one time that ants were the king of insects when they saw a pile of brownish-red ants marching in accord with the crumbs of food stored in their invertebrate backs.

Jennifer said shaking her head "Yea,but the sad thing is that everybody isn't going to accept this truth or believe in it" "Why?" Jennifer asked. "It's plain and simple of what the bible says" "Most people rather believe in men instead of their own God. Many are called but few are chosen" "Many are called but few are chosen. What scripture is that?" Jennifer asked "Matthew chapter twenty two and verse fourteen" Sophia replied "How do you know if you're chosen to be into this truth?" Jennifer asked

" How is the apocalypse described in the Bible? Miguel opened his mouth to speak, but it was Anne's voice that sounded closer to me. "There are seven trumpets for every seven days, and seven scourges for each angel who touches her," said Anne, removing the bible from her arm and searching among the sensitive pages of the sacred book. Zylah rolled her eyes when she realized our friend's devotion, but kept quiet; she was much more concentrated on the fainted archangel and hanging over Michael. Anne cleared her throat." Here it says, basically, that as soon as the first angel blows the trumpet, a rain of stones and fire mixed with blood will hit the ground, burning green trees and herbs. At the

Phone in and tell us if you know. ‘Here is our Baltimore bible expert, Randy Nelson. Randy, tell us what the bible quote was.’ Camera swings to Randy, who looks more like a country singer than a bible expert. ‘Well, Todd, John 7:53, verses 8 to11, refer to the passage where the Lord forgives the adulteress. The unidentified woman tells us the Lord’s message “is shit”. Seems she has issues with the Lord’s decision. Jesus said, “Let he who is without sin, throw the first stone” She sure threw the first punch.’

The men laughed at her song she chose to sing “..Goliath was bruiser who was as tall as the sky…but David threw a rock, and gave him one in the eye…I never read the Bible but I know that it’s true…it only goes to show what little people can do!…a worm can roll a stone…a bee can sting a bear…a fly can fly around Versailles ‘cos flies don’t care!..a sparrow in a hut, can make a happy home…a flea can bite the bottom of the pope in Rome!…”

Hayley continued to protest. "Hayley," Waverly called out in a low voice. "When I was very young, I read this story. The story mentioned that ants are terrified of fire. Even the smallest flame could kill them. There came a time when they encountered a flame in their way, and they had to get over it. Do you know what the ants did?" "What did they do?" Hayley had never heard of this story.

I take a deep breath before reading it. “Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.” I looked up and closed the Bible. The verse is right; Fear not nor be afraid of them. What a beautiful verse? I closed my eyes and thought about the verse that I had read for a moment.
