Novel & Cerita Looking Into The Abyss

Everyone knows the saying, "When you stare into the Abyss, The Abyss Stares Back." Many know about phenomena about Black Magic, Hauntings, Disappearances that have a Chill to it and if you search into it something sinister follows you. My Question is, What is THE ABYSS? Is it another Dimension of Horrors? Or a Realm of Mystery that intersects ours on a regular basis? Or is it a Life Form of many Forms who is trapped in an In-Between State or was Banished from Our Realm because it didn't want to co-exist with new life and just wanted to eat and destroy and feed off of Fear?

The small, green trees on the roadside swayed as the strong wind hit them. Then he finally stopped. I guess we've reached the highest point because I can now see the night view of a beautiful cityscape. It's vast and bright, as the breeze blows soft across my face. "I come here when I want to cry, but I never once did." he took a deep breath, "After my accident, I was in a coma for almost 6 months. I woke up feeling empty, I don't know anyone. When I learn about the accident and how my father died, I did not cry nor feel any pain. For 15 years, I feel like I'm in an abyss in the sea. That's why, I badly want to go back, to my past."

Koran murmured, his pace a frantic stride, "We’re going to the Abyssal Well, it’s the only place thick enough to drown a sun." We descended into the roots of the mountain, spiraling down until the air smelled of ancient stone and the metallic tang of the earth's blood, in the center of a lightless chamber lay a pool of liquid so black it seemed to be a hole in reality, it didn't ripple,it simply existed. "The Grounding," Koran said. "Stay with me, Vesper."

This was the Abyss. The path ended sooner than I expected. My foot slid against gravel and pebbles skittered down, bouncing into emptiness. I crouched, stretching my hand outward, and felt nothing but air. My stomach knotted as I realized I was standing at the lip of a pit so vast I couldn’t measure it. My ears strained, but no echo returned. That was worse than hearing it. It was the proof of a bottomless hunger, a place where sound itself was swallowed whole. And then the eyes appeared.

The abyss screamed. The sound tore across reality like a dying universe. Above the battlefield, the fractured sky split apart completely as silver light burst outward from within the abyss itself, spreading through the darkness like cracks through glass. The world shook violently. Mountains collapsed. Seas rose. The eclipse overhead flickered between black and silver as though existence itself no longer knew which side was winning. And at the center of it all, Lira stood inside the abyss holding Kael’s hand. Still human.

If they went there recklessly to catch it, one bad move could destroy them all. “You probably don't know that the abyss golden Beetles live in the depths of this forbidden abyss, a place where even our hunting party dare not enter.” Philip snorted coldly and said, “Do you think you have a choice?”

Fish scattered into shadows like ghosts, their silver bodies twitching with panic. The abyss, once his sanctuary, his secret refuge, pressed inward. Its pressure was no longer embrace but suffocation. The weight of leagues bore down, hostile, crushing. He felt the floor of the ocean tremble. Heard a deep groan emanate from its core. The abyss was breaking.

That's boring as hell. "I want to see what else is out there. It's not like it matters. Mavis will always be there waiting for me whenever I turn back." Laughter erupted. Some called him a jerk, half-joking. But I couldn't listen anymore. My chest burned, and my eyes stung. I walked away quietly, trying to breathe against the night air. I hated myself for ever falling for someone like him.

The music downstairs thundered like a heartbeat, but Amara barely heard it anymore. Her own pulse drowned out everything else, pounding in her ears as she sagged between them, trembling and slick, her body still shuddering from release. They hadn’t stopped watching her. Three pairs of eyes, Hunter, Deandro and Axel looks at her with eyes, hungry, dark, unrelenting, devoured every flicker of her expression, every weak little gasp that left her lips.

“And I don’t know if I want it gone.” Neither of them answers. The silence stretches long, heavy. I stare out at the abyss beyond the glass, but now—now I don’t feel quite so small staring into it. The abyss stares back, hungry, waiting. And for the first time, I think I might be hungry too.
