Esther’s POV *Before the rogue attack on Blue Moon* “Honey come down here please. I have someone that needs to speak with us.” I heard my mate, Jasper Knight yell for me. I rolled out of the bed and slid my feet into my light pink fuzzy slippers before walking to the living room. “Who is it?” I question him as soon as I walk in. “Esther please meet a dear friend of mine, Selene, Goddess of the Moon.” He says smiling brightly at the women beside him.

I could hear in my own words just how arrogant I sounded. “My name is Beta Devon, Luna.” He bowed his head once more. “Alpha, Beta, Luna… I feel like I have stepped into some cheesy Greek teenage fantasy drama! I didn’t want any of this, you know. The titles. The turning into a wolf the moment the full moon appears.” I couldn’t help myself. I was acting like a petulant child. But I just didn’t care. My life had taken a complete turn, and all I wanted was to get back on the tracks I was on. Everything just came bubbling out.

"What's she doing?" "She's looking for Beast. She wants to give him a thank you kiss." Someone made kiss smacking noises and Beast reached out and swatted the back of their head. When the two women returned to the elevators everyone cleared out except Christopher. He sat down and flipped cameras until he located Ashleigh and her friend. She looked good, healthy, pretty. He was satisfied that she was all right. But he still didn't turn away from the camera.

Bea whispered. “Y-you—you will?!” Lorene exclaimed in shock. Then suddenly, her expression turned happy and she smiled brightly. It made Bea feel better. Yes, as long as the Princess is happy, she’s willing to do whatever it takes.

I'm getting pissed by their loyal attitude. "The Alpha asked us to deliver this to you ma'am,"the maids said with their head bowed gently. Without waiting for my reply, they walked toward the wooden table and dropped the present or gift on it. "What's…" "These are the few selected wedding gowns that the Alpha wants you to choose from, my Luna,"one of the maids said as she pulled the red linen away from the wedding dresses. "You're going to pay for this, Alpha,"I muttered beneath my breath as I clenched my fist with a cold look on my face.

When I woke up again, I was in my own simple healer's cave. A young Omega apprentice named Lia, whom I’d mentored before, came in with a cup of warm herbal drink. "Tutor Seraphina, you're awake. Alpha Damian said he had urgent pack business to deal with and already left." Lia looked at me with pity. I gave a bitter smile and took the cup. "I'm not his Luna," I said softly, more to myself. Lia sighed. "I heard Alpha was going to announce his real Luna soon. But you're so weak, and he still had the elder drain your soul essence..."

Chamomile, honey, and something floral - hibiscus - filled the room, softening the air instantly. “Good morning, Miss Thea,” Clearway said quietly. Her voice was tender in a way I’d never heard from her before. “The Luna sends her tea.” Waters followed, carrying a linen-lined basket of pastries. Warm brioche. Flaky honey bread. Berry tarts. Something dusted with cinnamon. The scents wrapped around me like gentle arms. “The Luna insisted you have something soft, warm, and easy to swallow,” Waters murmured, setting them down. Her gaze flicked to my throat - the rawness, the bruised strain of it. Her expression softened further. “She was… quite particular about it.”

And tonight, I had dragged him into a lie I hated almost as much as the truth. “Is she settled now?” I asked. His jaw moved slightly before he answered. “Yes.” Silence hummed between us. Aria. The omega I’d last properly noticed years ago, quiet, unobtrusive, a shadow among wolves. Now… Luna in name only. A mask my people needed. A sacrifice I had demanded. Because Crescent Stone must not fracture. Because Selene must be protected — even in her absence. I exhaled slowly. “Good.” He nodded once.

The door closed softly behind Lydia, and Knox stood in the office for a few moments longer, watching the silence settle like dust around him. He didn’t move, didn’t blink—just stood there, jaw clenched, heart pounding louder than it had during the blood-binding ceremony. He opened the door after she had gone and took the stairs to the second floor. He turned sharply and opened a mind link with Brian, his Beta. “How’s the party?” Knox asked, his mental tone even but curt.

Aliya chuckles. "Why didn't you bully brother Xaidan like this?" Danny pouted. "Well, he will kill me if I touch him. And I got two boys to tease, so why do I tease the Devil?" Aliya struggles on her shoulders. "She knows me better," Xaidan said calmly. "Anyway, I have a gift that you asked for, so do you want it or not?" Aliya asked. "We want!
