She thought of the seventeen-year-old girl who had walked into that bookstore on a rainy afternoon, seeking refuge in someone else’s pages because she still didn’t know that one day she would have her own to offer. She thought of the broken woman she had been, of the painful but necessary crossing, of the moments when she had almost given up.

I wiped my tears and came to a complete stop on my path. When I looked around, it appeared as though clouds had descended from the heavens. The earth was covered in clouds, giving it the appearance of a blank page. If the fog suddenly hadn’t engulfed everything, I would have been ecstatic, but I was starting to feel uneasy. In the middle of April, I was engulfed by fog, and the path that led home had vanished. I felt a shudder run down my spine as I looked around, attempting to figure out where I was or where the path I was on had vanished.

Outside, thunder rumbled faintly in the distance. The first storm clouds were gathering on the horizon. And for the first time since the dream had ended— the future no longer felt entirely certain. Book Two had begun.

That spot is called cloud nine, from its name, surfing there allows you to ride a stunning experience, remarkably magnificent in any way. Don't know why but they don't," Evie tells them, putting down some of their stuffs on the sand. "Yo, point one! Help me with the damn blanket!"

There were also a number of books that were blank on the spines, which was interesting.

This time he used the other name he knew who had a bad temper. “--lost.” He heard her speak and he didn’t hear any other sound after that. He went to the couch and looked at the door, waiting for them to come out. Inside the room, Kyla was sitting on the floor, she saw blood on her feet and it reminded her of awful things she had run away when they were little. “I’m lost.” she quietly said before she was pulled back to blackness.
