I say, trying to sound sympathetic. She curses under her breath, awkwardly excusing herself, and I watch as she scurries away. The second she’s gone, I feel Lincoln’s fingers in my hair, a playful tug that I immediately slap away. "You’re a bad man," I hiss. The tiniest pout curls up his lips, but before he can say anything, a ding cuts through the moment. A message. Lincoln stiffens after reading it. Just like that, the air around us shifts—grows cold.

Ayden cursed out angrily while glaring at Lincoln, who chuckled. "So much anger isn't good for your health." Lincoln tsked while rubbing his chin, which was covered with grey stubble. Ayden didn't argue with him as he waited for him to continue. "Anyways, I'm here to ask you something else." Lincoln's voice turned careless as he walked towards the sofa before sitting down with his legs crossed over one another. Ayden's eyes followed his every move. He wanted to punch the bastard senselessly before giving him a slow and painful death.

When Lincoln woke up, it was already late at night. The room was lit with a warm orange glow, bright but not glaring. Vicky stood by the window, silently gazing at the moon outside, lost in her thoughts. "Vicky..." A weak voice came from behind her. Vicky turned around and saw that Lincoln had awakened. She hurried over and asked, "Second Young Master, how do you feel now?" Lincoln silently looked at her for a few seconds. "Do you have to be so polite with me?" he muttered with a faint sigh.

Shun sensed that something was wrong, so he quietly excused himself. He went to the kitchen to give the three privacy. It seems like Lincoln doesn’t want him to hear what his parents are saying, so he volunteered to go. He doesn’t understand what they are talking about, but he thought that he was not in a position to ask Lincoln about it. They’re just pretending to be in a relationship anyway. “Sheen?” Shun was startled when Lincoln entered the kitchen. Lincoln followed him. “Eh? I thought you were talking about something…” Lincoln didn’t answer and just smiled weakly. This smile was in mixed bitterness and sadness.

Oh God! “What do you say?” Evie asked, her hand sliding into her lingerie. “Wait one second,” Lincoln said, hurriedly getting to his feet. His eyes swiftly darted around the floor, they found his pants. He quickly grabbed it and dashed into the bathroom. Evie stood still in surprise. “Where are you going?” Lincoln silently locked the door, “Um… I'm getting myself ready…” He answered, hesitated for a bit, then added “I'm gonna give it to you so hard that I'll leave you wanting for more.” to wipe out any sort of suspicion she might be having.

Quinn pinched herself, “ I thought I wanted to avenge my father's death, then why am I thinking about why he didn't just make me his Luna? You are very brilliant so am sure you know how to go about it” he walked towards Quinn and Quinn nodded, looking at the ground. “You better keep this attitude of yours at a corner else you will get bullied by them “ Lincoln whispered “My work here is finished, so I will leave you all to get to know yourselves,” he said, then walked out of the kitchen.

Her voice came out raspy, but she ignored it as she did her best to give him a suggestive look. Lincoln moved closer and snarled, showing his fangs. “I am not going to tell you again.” Her eyes flashed in fear, but she quickly masked it with a bored expression. “Lost your mate already? What a shame. Guess she was just not up for the Luna position after all.” Lincoln dropped her and gripped both of his hands in his hair, fighting the urge to shift and tear her apart. He let out a deep growl of frustration and fury as he began pacing to think of a better way to approach the situation.

Lincoln answered as he drank from his mug. "Ooh," West said while nodding as she grabbed her spoon again. "Just eat some more..." Lincoln said before sipping his tea again and said nonchalantly "I'll be sleeping with you today!" "What??"

The Lawson twins were being vicious behind their hands, knowing that Clem was human and wouldn’t be able to hear them. “Fucking bitches!” Lucian growled. Without realising what I was doing, I jumped out of my hiding spot and stood between Lincoln and Clementine. The honeysuckle scent was being masked with unclothed fear. The smell of her terror made Lucian’s hackles stand on end. I opened the mind-link to all three of them and growled. “All of you, back the fuck off!”

Landon is looking between us; I’m sure there is so much that he wants to say. “Uh, yeah. They should, uh, they should look for abandoned buildings and homes. Dad, you have to know that note is a lie.
