A few minutes later, Nicholas arrived at the meeting place in his werewolf form, bleeding. Everyone, including Cedric, was in a daze upon seeing him almost beaten to death. As soon as Nicholas shifted back to his human form, his werewolf packs immediately extended their hands and helped patch his wounds and to remove the bullet out of his system before anything awful will happens to him. On the other side of the story, the woman safely arrived at her dad's enormous mansion. Hundreds of her security hurriedly greeted and brought her to the main house the second she landed in their parking lot.

I woke up half dead. My heart began pounding fast in my chest, the blood pumping through my veins... A nightmare? I felt tightness in my chest as I struggled to breathe. I shoved the werewolf book aside with was lying on my stomach. Mom was right. Reading all those werewolf stuff gave me a freaking nightmare. I wanted to get up but my whole body felt numb, tired and dead... I couldn't die from a nightmare, right? Like seriously. Dragging my whole I reached my bathroom somehow which felt like I have already walked a mile to reach here.

I pulled on the handle, and to my surprise, a section of the floor opened up, revealing a set of stairs leading to a secret room. I cautiously descended the stairs, my heart pounding with anticipation. As I reached the bottom, I found myself in a large underground room, dimly lit by a single bulb hanging from the ceiling. I could see that the room was lined with cages, and my heart sank as I saw that it was filled with werewolves, including Nikau.

Lona's POV The car passed through a huge concrete gate carved with special characters that I didn't understand. Passing through that gate, a village with lots of pretty little houses, some of which were brightly painted and with flower gardens appeared before my eyes. According to my knowledge, except for werewolves living near human society, other werewolves in the deep forest would live in cottages surrounded by ancient trees. I never thought they would have a flower garden in their house. Along the way, I met a lot of werewolves. Some appeared in the human form, some appeared in the fierce wolf form.

Edward stepped through the portal and into the city of Lurds at the location where the parlour was. Just like he feared something terrible had happened, the parlour was on fire and those around were fleeing from it. The choking smoke of the flames that oozed out of the parlour travelled through the nose and burnt the lungs. The amount of wolfsbane present in the smoke was enough to kill even the strongest werewolf, if trapped in it for too long. This was an attack on the parlour and whoever was behind it had their plans thought through and executed.

Louis said. *** “We need to know who they are before we make them disappear” Wendy said to Jordan who just made one person disappear without any questions. “Ohh.. Forgot that” he said and they continued trying too fight the imposters that seemed to be everywhere around the room while the others went around the pack house closing every entrance and exit to make sure none of the we're able to come in and none be able to live. “Jordan, they’ve started killing pack members with a pinkish powder that seems only lethal to werewolves” Tasha said as she ran into the room panicking.

Hector heaved a defeated sigh before he leaned his back on the chair made of rattan – with cushion, making it more comfortable to be seated on. “And what would it be? If you are confirming our real identity, then, you already see it – in the front row, right?” Hector sarcastically stated. “We are werewolves and everyone else here is.” Hector seriously added – like he was totally scaring her. Leila’s eyes widened as her mouth was slightly agape. Being shocked at his bold confirmation was an understatement. “Hector!” The woman called him. “Tsk!” Hunter just sneered at his side.

Derrick hated Lucas and he always had. As Lucas arrived at "The groove" which was actually the name of their werewolf community, he couldn't help the anxiety that was squeezing at his chest. Even his wolf was feeling it too and it shifted uncomfortably inside of him. He was the next Alpha of the Lucent pack and his choice of a mate was almost as important as breath.

The rogue’s sneer twisted into a snarl, her wolf side barely restrained. Madeline stood firm, replying calmly, “They’re not here.” The rogue moved closer, a low growl creeping from her throat as her body began to shift into its wolf form. Just as Alexei was about to warn her against it, the door swung open. Lucian stepped into the room, towering and fierce in his Lycan form. He growled, a deep, warning sound that filled the space. The rogue whimpered under the pressure of his powerful aura as he stood protectively between her and Alexei.

"The glass is reinforced. The perimeter is guarded. Do not open the door for anyone but me." He didn't wait for a response. He strode to the door, and as he stepped out into the night, I saw his shadow begin to lengthen, his shoulders broadening as the shift began before he even hit the grass. I watched from the window as the black wolf vanished into the treeline. But as I turned back to the room, I noticed something that hadn't been there before. On the cedar table, written in what looked like dark, dried blood, was a single word: SOON.
