Louisa May Alcott 8 Cousins Novels & Stories

His tone changed. His face became serious. I measured his gaze but I was also the first to look away. I stepped back and turned my back on him to leave the room. I was thinking of escaping the whole day. But I can't form the whole plan in my mind. I'm almost going crazy thinking about everything. My parents also came that night. And maybe it was a blessing that Louisa joined them, my female cousin on the paternal side who is a model. I know that she will not agree to my plan. She can still report me but I know my cousins well. We all grew up together. Even though she is the only female among our cousins, she almost knows how we all think.

Althea answered in a casual tone. “I don’t mean to sound rude but why are they throwing it at your parents’ house, and not at your cousin’s house. Also, which cousin? You have a lot of them.” I asked. Althea came from a big family. Her mother was born in America and was the only child in her family like us, but her father is Filipino and was born in the Philippines. He had seven brothers and three sisters. That’s ten kids! I don’t know how her grandmother was able to handle raising all those kids. She has thirty cousins in total on her father’s side of the family.

I could see the disappointment on Alissa's face, but she nodded. "Okay, I understand," She said, following Debra to a room. After that, Poppy, Chelsea, and Stacy decided to head to the backyard to sit by the pool while we waited for Alissa to get ready, while Lucien and I sat in the front of the Castle. "So Alissa is like a cousin to you?" I asked "Yes, my mom and hers have been best friends since they were teenagers. After my father's death, they stayed with us for a while," Lucien said

And to top it all off, Marianne had somehow volunteered herself as the unofficial babysitter for all of my cousins' children. There she sat on a shell-shaped sofa, surrounded by Louis (Lionel's son), Luke and Levi (Leonardo's twin boys), Louisa (also Leonardo's), and of course, Samantha, the birthday girl herself and Lionel's youngest. "Aren't you gonna pop one of these days, Aunt Mary?" Louis asked, studying Marianne's belly with the scrutiny only a nine-year-old could manage. "I hope not," Marianne said, smiling as she rubbed her stomach. "How'd you get a baby in there?" Luke asked, looking mildly horrified.

“The tall one who smiles a lot, the quiet one, and the one that laughs too much… are they really my uncles?” I laughed softly. “Yes. They’re my brothers. So that makes them your uncles.” There was a sharp intake of breath on the other end of the line. “Whoa.” “And the little girl?” he asked again, his curiosity clearly nowhere near satisfied. “She’s about Hayden’s age. She keeps following me around, I think her name is Lily. Is she really my cousin?” “Yes,” I said, warmth flooding my chest. “She is.” For a moment, there was nothing but silence. Then Amber whispered, awed, “I didn’t know I had so many people.”

I have put my self in a deep sleep and the only way to get me to wake up is by a strong family werewolf blood, that would bring me back*. My Aunt Zara told me that my cousin lost her parents at a tender age who is also part of our family and aunt Zara took my cousin in as her own. I don't still know why they never talked about them. Aunt Zara also said that while she wanted to come and stay with my parents, my cousin found love in New Orleans and didn't wish to come with her. After much convincing, she decided to leave my cousin there, making sure my cousin could take care of herself. And after some time, she heard nothing about my cousin but received only this letter.

Leon flushed, slightly taken off-guard by Louisa's odd temper; however, since Iris had entrusted her cousin with him, he had to follow through and reluctantly went into the car. ... In Springfield University, Leon and Louisa arrived early, but it still took hours for them to complete all the necessary procedures for admission. Louisa ran into two of her high school schoolmates that got into Springfield University as well. Both of her schoolmates were young women. One of them was called Annie Holt, a woman with an above-average look, but a tall, slim build complimented by fashionable clothing, so one could assume that she came from a rather wealthy family; the other by the name of Lacey Paul

I observed that he was still wearing the same worn trousers and plain white t-shirt that he had been wearing before, and that he was moving around in wet black boots with toes that were pointed downward. Zack, who was the second son that Uncle Alanson had, was approached in a cordial manner, and Uncle Alanson exclaimed, "You, Zack, have finally arrived! Come on over here, son, and I'll put you in touch with your aunt Fidelia as well as Irryn." Zack's aunt and cousin, Irryn and Fidelia, respectively, were both named Fidelia. In other words, it's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The first child that Alanson's uncle ever had was also named Alanson. This is Alanson's second child.

I could only catch fragments, leaving me with an incomplete understanding. The Locke family... I knew very little about Colorado Springs or the Locke family, except that they were the region's most prominent family. So Mrs. White had connections even here. And from what I gathered, Cassian's aunt held a central role in the Locke family... something akin to Snow White's wicked stepmother. But if the relationship between these female cousins was so solid, why hadn't Mrs. White sought help earlier? I hadn't forgotten how Alpha Gavin had been practically groveling at that restaurant last week.

Lylah “You still don't speak much after years,” Aunty Alora spoke, as she dragged me around the shopping hall with Mom, following us behind. “Carly is rather reserved, Mom. Stop bothering her.” My cousin, Aunty Alora, only child spoke as she walked by my side. She was a year older than me. “She just took after her gentle mom. Though it is a good thing. Following after that useless brother of mine is worse.” She laughed as if she had just cracked a joke.
