Chapter 141: Under Moonlit Reflections The night was clear, stars strewn across the sky like shards of silver glass, casting a serene glow over the SeaHowl castle. High up on the rooftop, Hana and Jarrel stood side by side, gazing at the vast expanse of their land, which stretched out far and wide beneath the rising moon. I asked pointing towards the box. He walked to stand in front of me, "This is for you," he lifted the box slightly. "Open it," he nodded with his head. I slowly lifted the lid of the box and a small gasp escaped from my lips as I looked at the wind chime in the box. A smile instantly made its way on my face as I touched the cold surface with my fingers. It made a soft noise when I tried to remove it from the box. There were three golden rectangular tubes in the middle with small stars and moons dangling around them unevenly. The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it.

Everyone was in a rush but why? "What's going on?" I asked them. They stared at me with the look it's a mess out. "You didn't check the news did you?" Scott asked. I shake my head in denial. What was there to check anyways. I don't have time for news and all. "Look, " he said switching the news channel on the TV. " Breaking News: Kayden Moonlight from the Band name Moonlight is spotted at MC Hospital with a female patient, who seems to be in serious condition ."

Lewiston looked at my dark princess. “I can tell you that our Luna’s blood work from the other day looks good. She is just a bit anemic. I would suggest eating more foods that contain iron, meat would be good, and I mean red meat. Our Luna also needs to make sure she is adequately hydrated.” Dr. Lewiston explained.

Downtown Crescent City twinkled with white fairy lights beneath the inky black sky. Representations of the Moon Goddess, painted by local artists, hung from every building, illuminated by golden spotlights. At the center of it all, a glowing prop full moon raised high above the city’s largest water feature, the aquamarine lights playing teasingly with the crystal-clear water below.
