And now he dared to question me. “This is wrong,” he continued carefully. “If the Alpha discovers that it is from you… he is not going to hesitate, Luna Elara. He is going to turn against you, and he will not hesitate or think twice. He is already devoted to her, you cannot risk your life doing this.”

“Then over the next several years, Dario, Stefano and their Uncle worked long and hard on devising a battle plan. A sinister one. One that would eventually start a war between all the families within the crime world. For each family was slowly growing in power. Yet, none of that mattered as Luca and Caterina eventually married while Dario went on to marry Rosalia and Stefano went on to marry a beautiful woman named Xenia. Each women giving each of the families beautiful children while the men went on to become groomed for taking over the family businesses.” “But then, one night, everything changed. Luca had gone too far. Overcome by power and hate for those around him did Luca move to attack

Alessandro gritted out. "Better things? Like what?" Ian asked him; Alessandro looked at me and winked, causing me to blush. "I could also be doing better things, couldn't I, Isabella?" Ian teased, and Isabella let out a giggle, fiddling with her freshly manicured nails. A loud groan came from Ivan; he tilted his head up, then he soon realized where he was. "You fucking bitch you fucking drugged me" Ivan yelled "Stupid little whore!"

Luca says, leaning down and kissing her again. Aldo and I avoid watching them, but not before I notice a stab of embarrassment come to Aldo’s face. It’s not the kissing that makes both of us uncomfortable, it’s what it reminds us of. “I’m gonna take these in,” Aldo says. “Sure,” Luca straightens up. “Want a drink too?” he asks, heading for the kitchen. Aldo nods. “When I get back.” He slides the second box off of the table onto his parcel, and his arms bulge. The already heavy boxes make him pop, and my own eyes bulge too.

I take the seat and hit the answer button. Luca's face pops up on the screen, bloodshot eyes decorated with dark circles, scattered hair, and a pale face. He is sitting in his study; he pulls on the sleeves of his hoodie and stretches his hands to his coffee mug. "Hey, did you receive my text?" Hmm... I scratched my ears, I did. "But I don't understand it."

Alpha Stone asked innocently, and that made me smile hard. “Well, I'm here to see my Luna,” he walked closer to me and stretched his hand towards me.” “Come Luna, have a walk with me,” Alpha Stone said. I took a quick glance at Theo, who just shrugged his shoulders. Probably indicating that it's okay for me to go with him. I slowly stretched out my hand towards him, and he took my hands in his and led me down the hall. “Luna Tihana, I officially want to congratulate you for being the Luna to Alpha Theo. At first, I was glad to have you around them, seeing the great impact you have on my sons. And now, I would like to thank you for being the mate to my eldest.”

Gross. “Are you 18? Is the Alpha your mate?” I can’t help but ask the blond bimbo. “Yes, I’m 18, but I haven’t met my fated mate. Enzi is going to make me his Luna, though,” she says with superior confidence, or maybe delusional confidence. Sure, he is. I note the eye roll from one of her friends and the way her eyes glazed over for a minute as she mind-linked the two other girls. Interesting.

I replied to him with the same old words. "I don't know." "You let her hug you." He teased me. "She needed it." I retorted. "She could have hugged me." He mumbled under his breath but I caught on it. Marcus pushed forward with a threatening growl. "You are not going anywhere near her. She's mine." "Hold your paws, man." Alex leaned back in his chair, his hands raised up in defeat. "She's already my Luna for me. I was only messing with Alaris."

~Isabelle~ The smile on Kaylee’s face dropped the moments that their eyes locked, he seemed like he was ready to unleash hell on her and she was scared of taking it, whatever must have transpired between them made her a changed woman, he must have been strict with his warning, I did not know that he could be that fearful, maybe, that was why he was an Alpha for a reason. She was quick to greet him, ‘’Good morning, Alpha.’’ He placed his hand in front of him with a warning sign, ‘’Keep your greetings to yourself, Kaylee. There is nothing good about the morning, what exactly are you doing in the Luna’s room?’’

I had no idea what he was saying, but I decided not to take a step like he had warned me. My eyes were shaking, then he said those words that broke me completely "I Alpha Alessandro Russo reject you, Elena George as my mate and future Luna. I have nothing to do with you and so I reject the mate bond." He didn't even give me a chance to say what I wanted to say. Staring at him as tears ran down my eyes, I knew he had no idea I had just lost the child that I was carrying. He had no idea that I had lost my family's and packs trust all because of that night's mistake. The least he could do was to take me in.
