It's been hard on her being away from Axel and Lanie. Damon has been travelling a lot this month. I see Damon watching us from the doorway. He wanders over and pulls a chair out for Lucy, and makes her sit while he finishes curling my hair. "I can curl my own hair," I scoff at Damon as he smirks and hands me the iron.

When I reached 5, she appeared in front of me looking ruffled, her face red from exasperation. “You wouldn’t do that mom!!” She said. “You know I would so get upstairs and let Aunt Anna dress you up!!” I added playfully.
