This will lead to the war that we are not yet ready for.” Luigi stood up and faced Lorenzo, spittle flying from his mouth as he shouted angrily, switching between English and Italian. I looked between Lorenzo and Luigi, shrinking back into the chair as much as I could, hoping that they would just kill each other and get it over with.

My fists pummel his face, but he just smirks with each hit, laughing. Everyone gasps, and I know it’s not because of the fight. A heavy crack sounds, which signals Luigi just entered the fucking room and has a hold of his whip. My spine stiffens as I stand straight, realizing I look like the instigator since I was the one on top of Rizzo and punching the shit out of him. “Back away from him, Morales,” Luigi says. I swallow hard and follow his orders, as even I’m not insane enough to stand up to that sadist.

A very short boy was in the back, and I couldn't help but strike a conversation. "Hey, what's your name?" I softly asked. "Levi," he said. "And how old are you, Levi?" I smiled. "13." My jaw clenched in anger. I can't believe that they have 13 year olds at this place! The Colombo family is one sick family! If they weren't as powerful as they are, I would have asked Luciano to kill each and every one of them. However, I knew that they were also a strong force to beckon; therefore, it's best if we focus on our objective right now.

- Luigi's POV - "Stop playing with her feelings..." I told him when I smelled the scent lingering around his body. He looked at me with his ruthless eyes, trying to prove something. His look said that I had chosen the wrong word to throw. His jaw clenched too. I could only stare at him with the same intensity, angered by the fact that they were together earlier. "You are the one playing, Luigi. Stop accusing me of something that you are good at," he said with full authority. Every word of his screamed the authority between us as if he was belittling me and my abilities.

'' Annah begged in tears. ''Shut it! Just shut it! I don't want to hear any more of your silly lies.'' he barked, stalking into the room. He slammed the door behind him and the loud noise from it made Annah jump in fright. She had seen him getting angry but this, what she was seeing now was on another level. He was livid and was ready to do anything to get the information he needed out of her. Smiling sadistically, he untied the whip that hung on his loose pants and Anna's eyes widened in fear.

“I can see that you don’t, so I’m begging you right now to stay in your lane. I respect you, but don’t make me angry.” He was already angry. His skin on his forehead pinched as he spoke. His tone was different this time and he gave warnings. The message was clear and mama Dora understood. She could stand Luciano like that, so she ran into a nearby store. Luciano ruffled his hair. He did not want to scare her, but she had done more harm than good with that tongue of hers. Because of the way he shouted, he caught the attention of Dora and Isabella. But by the time they arrived, mama Dora had already left.

"Call me whenever you want, you piece of man,” Betty said leaving us all speechless and Mick totally red. “That woman is crazy!” Mick exclaimed before laughing. "You have my number, Betty. If you want, call me.” And with that he turned his back on us again and went to the bar, leaving a smiling Betty and me somewhat discouraged at his departure. "Well, do you eat everything?” Louis asked me enthusiastically on the way to the car, noticing my mood had changed. "How about paella? Antonio is Spanish and he prepares a killer one.”

Everyone froze in fear as panic rippled through them all. Even Luigi’s smile was momentarily wiped from his face. He was not expecting the attack. But before he could try to recover, Nero’s fist connected with his jaw before anyone could react. The sickening crack of knuckles against bone echoed in the stunned silence. The dark haired don didn't stop, and brought his fist down in his cousin’s face again in a fit of mad rage. “You want to play games with me?” His voice was a low snarl, venomous and deadly. “You dare set your worthless sight on my wife. You dare threaten her under my own roof?!” His fist connected with his jaw again.

“Now you’re going to put the gun down and leave, or you’re going to die.” I cocked my head to the side, “If I pull this trigger right now, you’ll die; what makes you think I’m going to be scared of your threat?” Luigi laughed and dropped his gun. It hit the floor with a clatter. He spread out his arms. “Shoot me, I dare you. The watch, my men, waste all of you.” My hands shuddered with anger as I kept the weapon aimed at him. We were clearly outmatched, and I had to back down for everyone’s good.

Giovanni leaned forward in his chair as he waited for Luigi to speak again. He tried to remain calm under the tension, but with every passing second they spent in silence, he got more agitated. He wanted answers, and he wanted them quickly. “I'm sorry for what happened to your clubhouse. I heard it got bombed.” Luigi started, speaking calmly. Giovanni hissed. News was always sure to spread quickly. “Thank you for your concern. That is one of the reasons I am here,” he replied, studying his host's facial expression. Luigi still remained unfazed as he continued speaking.
