It's kind of like the feeling you get when you're called to the principal's office but somehow, this is ten times worse. Liam extends his arm to me and I hook my arm around it. I stare around as we head for the door. Lucas' mansion alone is the size of a castle. It's fancy, with tall, pointed towers, pretty stone carvings and lots of green plants around the gold walls. It's so impressive that even fancy royal families from Europe would be jealous. We climb up the sweeping staircase and stop at the entrance—two massive wooden double doors with nice carvings and a heavy-looking iron knocker in the shape of a lion's head.

“So, what do you say? Want to go on a tour of the place? I know you’ve seen a bit of it, but I’ve got a few spots I think you’ll love.” Lily’s eyes lit up with excitement. “I’d love that. This place is huge, and I’d love to explore it more.” He got up from the table, extending a hand to her once more. “Perfect. Let’s go.” They started their tour in the main foyer, where Rio pointed out the grand staircase that split into two on the upper level. He explained how the staircase was designed to be the centerpiece of the mansion, inspired by old European architecture. The chandelier above them glittered like diamonds, its crystals catching the light as it hung majestically from the ceiling.

The mansion was a five storey building, that was situated in the middle of New York City. He got out of the car and was greeted by his housekeeper, Lucia, a forty-nine-year-old dark skin lady, who had been together with them for as long as he could remember. She was his mother's best friend and his nanny when he was young. She was also his sister's nanny. "Welcome home Luca" She took his briefcase from him. "How was your day?" She asked, knowing full well that Luca wouldn't answer her. He just nodded his head, as he made his way to the stairs.

The sign Antonio had said he would send me so I could know my son was safe. I exhaled, my limbs numb with relief. Thank God everything had gone according to plan. The Bentley drove up to the house. Where the Bologna mansion stayed true to the family's Italian roots, the Morello mansion was built in a Victorian style. It was like they were trying too fucking hard. A four-story building with richly colored walls, intricate wood detailing, and the unique porte-cochère where the Bentley came to a stop. The door opened, and as I was about to step out, Mato grabbed my arm. His touch caused my gut to flip and my lungs to seize. Every inch of my body turned to ice.

I thought. “You must have heard of the tales of Luci’s missing wives. Don't let them scare you, I promise you’d be fine. As long as lay low and abide by his rule.” He started, “but I know you’ll be fine. You're a good girl, aren't you?” He patted my head and I looked at him warily. “We are finally here.” He sighed as we reached the doors of the mansion which opened upon our presence. The interior of the mansion was just as beautiful as the outside, if not more. Ranging from the well polished stairs, to the chandeliers, to the beautiful marbled floors and the long, ancient walls.

Liam asked me. "Later. Go get some rest." "Yeah. Long trip." He said and padded off with another house keeper. "Marie please show Karen and Louis to their rooms." I said to another housekeeper as soon as Karen and Louis stepped in. They couldn't stop ogling the place. I couldn't blame them. It was a breathtaking mansion that overlooked the skyline, hills and mountain. It was a waterfront mansion that consisted of about thirty rooms and it wasn't too far from the ocean.

I close the bag and place it in my bag. “It is just a migraine.” I say to him and he shrugs as he drives again. “Just indulge me,” he says, and I roll my eyes as we pull up to the house. I look at it and smile at it. The old Moretti mansion is at the top of the street. I climb out of the SUV and walk up the path to the house that was the home of the DeNucci’s.

Luca said. "You'll return to your work," he ordered, and they walked away. I nodded my head. "Let me show you your room," he said, walking up the stairs. I trailed him from behind. "This mansion is divided into three wings. The middle one is the one where we are." By saying this, he turned right, coming to a long corridor that again divided into a right and left wing. "And from here, the right wing starts." "Why are there so many rooms?" I asked, totally not getting the point of living in a mansion. I felt lost here. Room after room and long corridors I felt like I was in a maze.

Lily was lost, and her head was emptry. What she could have done. She have no one to guide right now and neither she now what to do next. She can't find the way back to Lorenzo's or eros's room or even their office. It was getting tiring. She drew a deep breath and stopped in middle of a hallway with rooms. She can't understand why there were so many hallways and rooms in this mansion. It looked like that it was made for 5 families to reside in it. But she pushed that should away.

He just nodded as he thanked him. “No problem, Lord Lium.” Luis respectfully bowed at him. Inside the mansion, Lium immediately went to the kitchen and drop his things before talking directly at Ms. Choi. “Ms. Choi, the name of the mansion…” Lium still can’t get over it. “Oh, it has been changed since before your father died. You just noticed?” Ms. Choi chuckled at his shocked reaction still visible on his face when she answered him. Lium shook his head before he snapped from being shocked.
