Pushing those thoughts away from my mind, I pulled Cain's hand towards the little cart parked across the street. Luigi as usual mattered some spanish words as a sign of how happy he was to see me again. Then his face changed when he saw Cain, he was so shocked that he stopped fanning the little Gemini sausages on the grill. He wiped his hands with a rag before greeting Cain. "I'm such a huge fan, can I get your autograph?" He asked.

But then, the things they talked about before I left was catching my attention. Who the heck was Don Luigi? Never heard of that name before. If he was someone who worked inside the company, then maybe I would know about it. Or if he was a client that Ricky was approaching, then I would know too. But I never heard anything about this person. I tried to search for that name on the internet but only a cartoon character came up, Luigi the Super Mario's twin brother. Okay, that was a stupid move.

Tomorrow. I woke up early to go jogging when I remembered to wake Luigi. I went to his room which was not locked. When I went inside, the pogi was still gaping. I pinched Luigi's nose, which was too crooked. It was almost red but he still didn't get up. I climbed on his bed and stepped on him. Luigi always felt like a heavy weight on his body. He was restless every time I was in front of him. He almost vomited and always made excuses because of what we were eating. Luigi also had a hard time finding the fruits and food I needed.

"I will comply with your request. Done saying that sentence. Mario walked towards the cupboard. Picked up some of his belongings and then immediately put them in one of the suitcases that were there. Not enough to stop there, Mario also took some work needs. There was a laptop and tablet that he had previously kept in the small suitcase he had taken on a trip to Liverpool the past few days. Moving some of the contents into a bigger suitcase, very much like someone who wants to move.

I had to stay on my knees, using my bare palms to crawl and feel the surface to find them. Maria narrowed her eyes as she stared at my back. She then looped her arm through Simone's and whined to Simone and Luigi, "I'm so tired." "I'll carry you, then; after all, it's too dangerous for you to walk here," Simone said as he planted his black leather shoe on the back of my hand and ground his weight into it. He finally stepped over me as if I weren't even there, with Luigi trailing right behind him. I stayed on my knees, staring at the glass embedded in my palm. I started out crying, but eventually ended up laughing.

Mario’s words, though unproven, resonated with a disturbing truth. Mario didn’t elaborate, simply stating, “Your connection to Lorenzo is no coincidence. Everything has been orchestrated by him.” He paused, then added, his voice laced with a subtle emphasis, “Only I can truly save you from him.” He made himself sound like my only hope, a beacon in the storm. Just then, a commotion erupted outside the room—shouts and a crash. Before I could react, the door burst open, slamming against the wall. Lorenzo stood there, a formidable, enraged presence. His eyes, usually cold, burned with an unholy fire. Mario, however, remained remarkably calm as if he had been expecting this unceremonious entrance

Luigi winks at his friend. Steph laughs at his statement despite of the pain she is having through, “where are we going to eat ba?” she asked. “We are going to eat there,” Luigi pointed at the fast food chain across the street where a lot of chairs and table are setup near it. Luigi brought her there and helps her with her seat, they choose to eat outside the fast-food since they both want to breathe the fresh air that surrounds them. They ordered two sets of tapsilog, hot chocolate, and king burgers, they orders were set on their table after a few minutes.

I wanted him to leave. “Hey, Luigi!” came a male voice from the right end of the large gym. My head followed where it came from to find an angry Archie, standing next to Pam and the others. Shit! Luigi is a part of their crew, which indicated that he was no good. “You should go to them.” I quickly encouraged him. He stood there to say something and I cut him off, “I’m done for the day. See you around.” Not sparing him another minute, I walked away while removing the wraps and boxing gloves, then placed them on the shelf where they are kept and exited the building.

My fists pummel his face, but he just smirks with each hit, laughing. Everyone gasps, and I know it’s not because of the fight. A heavy crack sounds, which signals Luigi just entered the fucking room and has a hold of his whip. My spine stiffens as I stand straight, realizing I look like the instigator since I was the one on top of Rizzo and punching the shit out of him. “Back away from him, Morales,” Luigi says. I swallow hard and follow his orders, as even I’m not insane enough to stand up to that sadist.

"It's just a room. You know me better than I know myself, right? What are you worried about?" Leo's mouth opened and closed, but for once, he had nothing to say. The clerk slid the key across the counter. "Here's your room key, sir." "Thank you," Luigi said. If I wasn't careful, I might start liking the way Luigi played this game. As he took the room cards from the front desk, I saw my opening. If Leo wanted to play blind, I'd make sure he saw everything now—up close. "I got the candy from the car," I said casually, stepping into view.
