I say, feeling more panic.
The man pats my shoulder. “As I said, friends. I know this all seems messed up right now, but I promise it will make sense soon. Come, let’s get you in the car.”
The Adam guy helps me while the Fletcher one gets in the front seat. The man sits next to me. As we drive the man looks through my records, swearing as he does so.
“So yes to electro then?” The Fletcher guy asks
“Antipsychotics, sedatives, and other laundry lists of drugs,” he replies. “She has so much of it in her system that if she was human she would be drooling in a corner right now.”
