Lukas stated and Beth immediately caught sight of the happiness on his face. "Can you do something for me?" Lukas asked and Beth immediately nodded. Even though he was well advanced in age, and he looked really young, tears were starting to brim in his eyes. Lukas' mouth opened and closed. His life force was being sucked out rapidly but he tried to say his last words, "Search for Bryce… and possibly get rid of Gen…" Unfortunately, Lukas couldn't complete his words before his body felt limp. "Lukas! No!!!" Bryce yelled and deep from within, he howled. The sound reverberated through his chord and chest.

I found a can of soup in the pantry that was only a year past its expiration date, and I heated it on the ancient stove while he sat on the kitchen floor, playing with a wooden spoon and one of my mother's ceramic frogs. He chattered to it, babbling something about “DADA” and “boo-boo,” and I had to turn away so he wouldn't see me cry.

Lukas continued, am so pissed right now. “I guess you have to come up with a story for the boss,” the accomplice replied.” “Yeah, I guess I have to come up with a story,” Lukas responded, retrieved his gun, and fired twice into his accomplice's head. The guy fell face flat on the ground, and as though the weather was on cue, thunder rumbled and it once again began to rain. Lukas cussed out the weather again and began to drag the dead body into the woods to bury it not so far from old Papa’s grave.

Long stories deserve a bottle of wine.” He served Lily two glasses of wine, and she gulped it down. Lucas also drank his fair share of the liquor. He looked at Lily intensely and began narrating. Since I was playing solo right now, every time I died, I would respawn outside of the Boss’s Dungeon. The only way I could contact Luka inside the game was by messaging him. Only when I was outside of the game was I able to talk to him directly. He kept giving me advice on how to deal with the Boss, but it didn’t help. Even with the aid of our pet Hope and the fairy we acquired on level six, I continued to struggle.

Lucas did not want a messy war that would end in the death of his own kind, because he was a man who liked to play long games where he was always the one holding the best cards. He walked over to a stone chair that sat in the middle of the ruins of an old castle, sitting down with a grace that hid the monster living inside his chest. He began to tap his fingers on the arm of the chair, his mind working through a thousand different ways to hurt the people who had stolen his future queen.
