Lukas teased mercilessly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "E-Eaten?!" Annabel froze mid-swing, her spoon hovering in the air as full-on alarm mode activated. "Mommy will be eaten by Uncle?!" "Didn't I warn you yesterday? I'm a big, bad wolf in disguise," Lukas continued his playful torment, leaning forward with exaggerated menace. "So I can gobble up your Mommy whenever the hunger strikes—and she's no match for me since I'm bigger, stronger, and way too powerful for her to fight back." He flexed his bandaged hand dramatically for effect. "If you don't want your Mommy ending up as wolf chow, you'll hand over that food tribute right now."

Luther still was holding my hands above my head with one hand. After Lucas poured it all in my mouth. Luther forced my mouth closed. I kept the liquid in my mouth for as long as I could but we both weren't backing down so I had to concentrate on not accidentally swallowing. After awhile Lucas came over to me and gave me a smile. "You know we're immortal right. You can't get mad at Luther for wanting to have alittle fun." Lucas said with a smirk.

With his eyes closed, he inhaled and held his breath. Opening his eyes, he released the air. His whole body seemed to slump as the breath left his body. “Let’s sit down then, I have a story to tell you,” he said, and made his way to the nearest little sofa. The bulk of him settled in, and he lowered his dark eyes to the floor.
