I kinda have to tiptoe when we kiss,” Jess said then she almost kicked herself for revealing too much. She could hear Leslie screaming excitedly over the phone. “When did you kiss? Who are you and what have you done with Jessica Harris?” Leslie asked.

Marliss urged as she and Lou walked into the room, each carrying their own glass. "I'll go first," Lexie said, "if that's okay. The best day of my life was the day Killian walked into it. Like everyone else, we've had our challenges." She looked at Killian. "I'm grateful for the man he is and for the future we have together. I love you, Killian. Merry Christmas." Everyone echoed Merry Christmas and took a sip of their drinks.

Until his image improved in front of her family, it was better to avoid meetings to prevent more conflicts and keep everyone happy.

“Better than I thought I’d be.” “Did you cry?” “Almost. But not the kind of cry that breaks you. The kind that clears the air.” Jesse sat up, serious now. “You think he’ll come back?” Lucas didn’t hesitate. “I do.” Jesse nodded, then got up and walked into the kitchen. “You want pancakes or eggs?” he asked. Lucas blinked. “You’re making breakfast?” “I’m making distraction,” Jesse replied. “Sit down before I change my mind.”

Jake’s jaw tightened slightly, but he said nothing, waiting for Joseph to continue. “That’s why we’ve decided,” Joseph said, gesturing to Tammy, “that Tammy will take on the role of Luna. She’s strong, capable, and comes from a respected lineage. She’s the perfect choice to lead this pack alongside you.” Tammy smiled and stood, smoothing out her dress. “It’s an honor, Alpha,” she said sweetly. “I know it’s sudden, but I believe we can do great things together.” Jake stared at her for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then he let out a long, exasperated sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.

The Alpha smiled as he stood up from his seat walking slowly towards me. "I..." I shuttered not knowing what to say seeing the Alpha walk towards me. "Evelyn, no need to bother about formalities, just call me Ethan." The Alpha smiled immediately when he got to me. "I...." I shuttered feeling rather confused wondering why the Alpha was acting rather strangely. Did he fall in love with me at first sight or what the hell was happening?
