"A rainbow? On the ceiling?" "Why not?" I started sketching, following his wobbly yellow line, curving it, adding arcs for other colors in light, quick strokes. The bare room became our canvas. My designer's mind, rusty but still there, kicked in. His random streaks became the skeleton of a joyful, sprawling sky mural.

The day was beautiful, the weather was perfect for an outing, the sun was shinning bright and the sky looked beautiful, the white clouds were drifting into the blue clouds, forming different lovely shapes, firstly I pictured a shape as a puppy, then it drifted again and formed a boat like shape that looked a little bit like a bungalow then suddenly it dispersed like a mist, forming the shape of an hunter or was it a street light. I blinked my eyes rapidly, looking away from the sky, it was like the clouds was playing pranks with me, guess our shapes. I brought out my iPhone and took a three different pictures of the beautiful sky. I scrolled over to my Instagram page, not hesitating to uplo

The sky was breaking. Gold, silver, and crimson light tore across Heaven like three storms colliding. The air screamed with power as God, Luke, and Lucifer faced each other across the fractured clouds. And in the center of it all stood Lily. Luca floated inches above her arms, glowing with unstable power. Tiny sparks of gold and red spiraled around him like newborn stars. Even the war in the sky had paused. God stared at the child in stunned silence. Lucifer tilted her head slowly, her crimson eyes glittering with fascination.

I said and he looked over at me almost in interest. "Find a pace and enjoy it" I smile softly before letting go of his hand "follow what's deep inside of you Link, don't force something more or expect something else just let it flow" I stated before picking back up my paintbrush. I look back and forth from my painting to the sky matching the world outside the window with a slight smile on my face. Enjoying the dark and the silence, as I push everything into the painting in front of me capturing the branches of the trees, the shine of the moon and the glow of the stars that were mixed within the inky darkness of the sky.

“Every living thing has its own music—we just have to be quiet enough to hear it.” Lysander worked quickly now, mixing his pigments with careful precision as he studied the scene before him. He started with the sky, layering thin washes of color to capture the way dawn light transitions from deep purple to soft pink to brilliant gold. He painted the mountain in shades of blue and grey, letting the paper show through in places to create the illusion of distance and air.

Metis handed over her phone, and there was a picture of a picture on the screen. "She drew this?" Erebus asked in awe as he staring at that picture. It was a picture of the ocean. The whole picture was blue, yet the light, foggy blue of the sky and the dark, heavy blue of the water gave the whole painting a low gravity, as if the ocean is with the weight of the whole world while the sky was a feather of dream, floating above.

My tiny hands reached out to take the sketchbook, flipping through pages filled with colorful, clumsy drawings of butterflies in flight, perched on flowers, and soaring through the sky. The memory was fleeting, but it left me reeling as it faded back into the present. I blinked, staring at Lucas as he continued speaking.

The air hums with magic, and vibrant hues of blue and purple dance across the sky. We find ourselves standing at the edge of a sparkling lake, its surface reflecting the myriad of stars that adorn the heavens above. A sense of serenity washes over us as we take in the breathtaking landscape.

Somewhere out there were men who desired her, rivals who admired her, and brothers who would destroy anyone who tried to hurt her. But in this moment, none of that mattered. The only thing that mattered was that she had finally learned to soar without permission. She opened her notebook and began to sketch again—this time, a collection inspired by the sky itself. Flowing silks, soft metallic tones, structured shapes that looked like wings. She titled the page Ethereal Heights. By the time she finished, dawn had begun to touch the horizon. She looked out again, smiling faintly. For the first time in her life, the sky didn’t feel distant.
