The Mafia's Princess

The Mafia's Princess

She starts to sing to me. When I hear a baby cry, I think of a lullaby— a lullaby that seems to cling to me— a lullaby my momma would sing to me. But Mama, I'm not tired. I yawn sleepily. Mama grins and continues to sing You will close your eyes, you will rest on my heart, waiting for the sweet night. While you will sleep, while you will dream, I will watch over you. I close my eyes and listen to my Mama's beautiful voice

The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

I tiptoe out and close the door behind me. I wait a moment outside the door. Zara’s cries make my heart feel like it’s in a vise. A sad smile comes across my face when I hear Mom singing a lullaby. It’s the same one she always sang to me when I was little. Even from outside the room, her voice makes me feel better. Late at night when the moon is high / The Wolf will make its eerie cry / Echoes in the valleys deep / And the mountains that are steep Then they travel far and wide / To find that soothing lullaby / They do not stop not once at all / Until they find that lovely song

Another amazing book! LOVED the cameos from the other characters in the series. Advice to 1st time readers: this is the 3rd book in publication order but 4th in the current time line. Read Luna of the Manae 1st to see the connections, and beware of spoilers within the comments of each chapter.

What an absolutely fabulous book. It had me totally mesmerized and I could not put it down. Unfortunately, I have read the book so fast that I have nothing else to replace it while you complete the Luna Manea book 🥹. I am going to have to reread both of your books while I wait. Love your story tel.

Seducing My Mafia Stepbrother

Seducing My Mafia Stepbrother

It’s been a very busy and exciting day for everyone now they are worn out. We do our normal routine of bedtime baths and lotion and end it with a lullaby that Shelly sings. Her voice is truly amazing. She could be a singer but she doesn’t feel comfortable enough doing so, which I understand. Her voice is calm and serene, each note carefully woven with love and tenderness. The melody floats on the air, a gentle symphony that seems to calm the very walls of the room. **"Hush, Little Baby"** Hush, little baby, don't say a word,

Anything But Porcelain

Anything But Porcelain

She let out another yawn and closed her eyes. “Elleanna?” “Hmm?” She hummed out. “Will you sing me a lullaby?” Romero asked softly. “Sure” She said softly then she began to sing a German lullaby she had learned in school once because she loved it “Shlaf, Kindlien, shlaf, Der Vater hut die Schaaf, Die Mutter schuttelts Baumelein, Da falls herb win Traumelein…Shlaf, Kindlien, schlaf….”

This book is by far one of the best books I have read on here. Many laughs and many, many tears. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong female lead along with supernatural entities. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Wonderful book though there are gruesome and painful torturous moments but the main lead is a brave, strong, kind hearted, positive and loving lady. Her positive outlook and disposition is commendable. Plenty of twist, hope, love lovely moments then psin real painful to read.. Hope for more lovely b

Cruel Destiny

Cruel Destiny

I don't want my daughter to see my scared and sad face before leaving this life. I mumbled a lullaby that I thought I would tell my daughter. Now it's time to say good night, Good night, sleep tight. Now the sun turns out his light, Good night, sleep tight. Dream sweet dreams for me, Dream sweet dreams for you. Close your eyes and I'll close mine, Good night, sleep tight. Now the moon begins to shine, Good night, sleep tight. Dream sweet dreams for me, Dream sweet dreams for you. Close your eyes and I'll close mine,

one of the best book I have ever read , I like the way writer has written it and end it , it truly match with the title cruel , sometime as punishment and redemption we lose something only to know it's true value after losing it and regret is enough , story shows the cruel reality of real world .

This book is really heart reaching! I wanted to cry through most of it. I liked the second ending better but I also like the original ending. Just be warned to have tissues with you as you are reading.

BITTERSWEET MEMORIES

BITTERSWEET MEMORIES

I sang him the cradle lullaby and he was asleep in no time and it didn’t take long before I did too. Lullaby and good night, With roses bedight. Creep into thy bed, There pillow thy head. If God will thou shalt wake, When the morning doth break. If God will thou shalt wake, When the morning doth break. Lullaby and good night, Those blue eyes close tight. Bright angels are near, So sleep without fear. They will guard thee from harm, With fair dreamland's sweet charm. They will guard thee from harm, With fair dreamland's sweet charm

The Girl He Hates

The Girl He Hates

I felt a head resting over my left shoulder, and that simple act of compassion brought a smile to my face as I moved my hands, caressing the hair of the little angel in my arms, rocking her, and crooning her with my father and my favorite lullaby. I am hoping that it will have the same effects on her as it does on me. ‘Somewhere over the rainbow Way up high There’s a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue. And the dreams that you dare to dream. Really do come true. Someday I’ll wish upon a star. And wake up where the clouds are far, Behind me Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That’s where you’ll find me.’

My Husband Wants Me Dead

My Husband Wants Me Dead

When Felix noticed his mother's exhaustion, he kindly asked, "Mommy, can I sing you a lullaby to help you sleep?" "Sure." Nestled in her hospital bed, Esther reached out to embrace Felix. He gently patted her arm and began to sing. "Grandma Moon, bake a bun, Toss it high, let it run. Baby finds it on the shore, Keeps it, Grandma asks no more." Intrigued by the unfamiliar nursery rhyme, Esther asked, "Felix, where did you learn this nursery rhyme?"

The Lost Graystone Princess

The Lost Graystone Princess

"Something about moonlight and brave wolves. And my father would join in with this terrible off-key voice that made us all laugh." "The Luna's Lullaby," Jackson said softly. "It's an old royal song." "Can you remember the words?" I asked. He hesitated, then began to sing quietly, his voice surprisingly melodic: "Silver moon above the trees, Guide my little wolf to sleep. Dreams of running wild and free, Secrets that the shadows keep." The words unlocked something in me—tears springing to my eyes as the melody resonated through my bones. Star stirred, recognizing the song on a level deeper than memory.

Middle Land

Middle Land

"Come home fear shidhe, Hush my child, not a whisper pass your lips, Let your heart go dreaming of your lovers kiss. Deep in your heart the merriment grows, A sliver of silver now starts to show. Follow it to the river, see the stars above and the dew below. Bask in Selene's glow, your heart filled with wild joy, And light. Light of lights in burning adoration calling you home."
