The Luna Who Refused to Kneel
At the center of the settlement was a large plaza, at the far end of which stood a magnificent stone building — the council hall.
A group of people was already waiting in the plaza. They were all members of Andrew’s pack. As soon as they saw Andrew’s car, everyone fell silent and turned their eyes toward us.
Andrew took my hand and stepped out, leading me to the crowd.
“This is Leah,” he announced, his voice carrying across the plaza, clear and strong. “From today, she is your Luna.”
No one questioned it. Everyone bowed slightly, right fists pressed to their chests.
“Luna!”
