“He won’t find out. After all, you are his trusted brother, and it’s common to visit you for some kind of business. Right, honey?” Luna consciously knew she was dreaming, her body was peacefully laid on the bed, but her mind was out there, watching this vivid scene as if they were a peace of movie flashing in her eyes. She can’t help to feel disgusted towards the sinners! Her eyes flew to the young girl who was silently crying. Her head was facing the floor, and both of her hands were placed on top of her knees. "I could not have done it without you." That night, Luna had a dream. She saw the Moon Goddess, standing in a field of silver flowers. "You have defeated the Dark Ones," the Moon Goddess said. "Thank you," Luna said. "But there is still work to be done," the Moon Goddess said. "The Nightmare is still trying to return."

Images from her first dream of Orion—silvered eyes, unmoving limbs—rose up, overlaid on what she’d just seen. He’d been the first. Of course he had. Selene. Her mother. Her own high hallways. All the places she’d scrubbed and served now swam in that dark mist. No wonder the land had tasted wrong when she’d pressed her palm to the ground near Moonshadow’s border in her dreams.
