Lunar Eclipse Itsfunneh Novels & Stories

He steps in front of me, shielding me from view as the village teems around us. I glance up from the pages without reading a single word. My senses settle the second I spot Fallon surrounded by a semi-circle of women–Lunas, by the looks of them. Some I recognize, some are new, but Fallon commands them all. It’s amazing to me how someone so small can demand so much attention, and the Lunas are, in fact, attentive, drinking in every word she says. I look back down at the journal. “We were correct,” I tell Father, briefly meeting his eyes. “Queen Maeve and Blake confirmed that the next full moon will also be a lunar eclipse.”

When was the next one? I pulled out my phone, then remembered I had left it at the resort. But there was a calendar on the desk, detailed with astronomical events. My mother had marked important dates, phases of the moon, and its celestial alignments. I flipped frantically until I found it. Two days from now. A total lunar eclipse, visible from Moonstone territory. "Two days," I whispered. "She has two days to get me to agree, to get Ethan under her control, to set up everything she needs."

There was supposed to be a Lunar Eclipse four nights from now. Contrary to what people thought, they happened often. They were just hard to spot at times. This eclipse would be one of those that occurred every thousand years or so. One that would be very visible. "I knew I'd find you up here." I didn't respond to the voice. Didn't acknowledge it. My eyes stayed trained on the night sky. "Why do you want her so badly?" Again I didn't respond. Sooner or later, they'd get the point and go away. Assuming they were that bright. Which I knew they weren't.

If Azzura didn't give a magic spell to Darren and wouldn't absorb all the energy from the total lunar eclipse, Darren might have been unconscious by now. Carlen closed his eyes, feeling the moonlight hitting his pale face. ** The total lunar eclipse is an event that werewolves look forward to. The red moonlight can increase their strength. Its energy is more potent than the full moon. Jorge, Garneta, Leon, Arva, Dafa, Devin, and Luluna. Revaz, his wife and children. Then Winko and Johan. After Orlan and Lucia's wedding, they gathered in the mansion's front yard while having a BBQ.

They know that too well… but it seemed like Harper forgot. “He’s back there, talking to Anthony. You cannot disturb them as of the moment. You have to wait for a while.” And Brayden nodded. He looked at the two boys beside Harper. They seemed to be in defense mode. He looked away so that they can stop being uncomfortable. It didn’t help. “Did you know tonight’s a lunar eclipse?” None of the three knew about that information. “Really? wow. That’s amazing.” Brayden nodded. “I’m glad I’m no longer in that room. I can see it in its full beauty.”

“But... but that doesn’t make sense. Isn’t the eclipse just a special event for witches?” Silvia shook her head, the fear in her eyes deepening. “No, Caroline. I’m talking about *solar* eclipses. Not lunar ones. Lunar eclipses are a good sign for the coven—times when our powers can grow stronger, when the energies of the moon are aligned with us. But solar eclipses? It’s different. With the sun shielded from view, only dark witches can access their magic fully.”

“No.” “Well, the Blood Eclipse is a period in Lunaria where the moon becomes completely red. Wolves lose their powers and are weakened tenfold. During this time, warlocks and other things seize their chance to attack.” “How come I’ve never heard of it?” I wonder out aloud. “I’m pretty sure it’s never happened before since I was born.”

Amy also mentioned seeing Katie talk to someone suspiciously over the phone about Something that is to happen at crescent moon but I waved it off as there could be a few things she has to do personally. We were done swimming and it was time to leave the Blue lake pack. I almost didn’t get to asked the ladies where we should go next when katie suggested crescent moon. “Crescent moon?” Amy, sera and I asked unison “Yes ….. we should go there next ,since technically it’s a new pack. Won’t you like to the see the development and progress of the alpha.

Haley “Alright Haley. You are free to go.” “Thank you Dr. Sully!” “Haley let’s go to that festival that the wolves are throwing,” says Ray excitedly. “What festival?” “The Lunar Eclipse Festival. There is going to be a lunar eclipse tonight,” says Nick. “Sounds like fun. Where are Aiden and Harrison?” “I’m not sure but please don’t make us wait for them. We will be surrounded by the whole pack,” begs Ray. I can’t help but laugh and agree.

“I can almost forget they’re all watching.” “It’s just a little while longer.” I promise, glancing up at the moon. It’s almost completely obscured now, a huge red orb rimmed with a crescent of pearly light. As soon as the eclipse is complete we’ll go out to the main festival stage and kick off the fireworks. I’ll make a short speech, and then we’ll be free to go. Just then a chirping noise sounds from the vicinity of Selene’s hip, followed by a soft vibration.
