Lunar Eclipse Itsfunneh Novels & Stories

"The Lunar Eclipse, Amelia. It's happening in a week from now. For our kind, a blood moon eclipse is incredibly rare. It’s a night of shifting tides, where the spiritual bond to the Moon Goddess is at its absolute peak everyone discovers their true selves on that day."The moment the words Lunar Eclipse left her mouth, a sudden, sharp jolt of electricity shot straight down my spine. My chest tightened, and for a fleeting second, the faint sound of rushing water like the waterfall from my dream echoed in my ears.

“Don’t have long for what?” Rowan met her eyes, and she saw no softness there—only grim certainty. “To learn if you’ll survive the change.” Her throat constricted. “No. No, this is wrong. I’m not—this isn’t—” “You are,” Rowan cut in. “That mark doesn’t lie. You’ve been bitten under a lunar triad.” Evelyn blinked. “A what?” “The three full moons that rise in a single season,” Rowan explained, his voice low, steady. “It’s rare. And dangerous. Those bitten then don’t become mindless beasts. They become true lycans.”

“Look, Luna! I’m a fire wolf!” Another tackles him, shouting, “No, I’m the fire wolf!” Lily joins in, her shrill giggle piercing the night. “No fighting, or you’ll lose your resilience!” Even in my anxiety, I can’t help but chuckle. * * * The first night of the Lunar Eclipse is the most joyous. The celebration is a kaleidoscope of sensations. The scent of burning incense, the aromas of roasted game, and spiced cider fill the air, mingling with the sweetness of honey cakes. Elders share stories of past eclipses, their voices rich with nostalgia. Young couples exchange tokens of love beneath the glowing moon.

“Mom.” “Yes, dear?” “Can you tell me a little bit more about the Lothians? Why am I so important to have? Why they took Alexandria.” I asked. I could see the shock on her face when I asked. “Well. It is a bit difficult to explain. Ledges have it that the Luna, also known as you. Are the only ones that can wipe out their existence. This is why they are they killed your sister. Before she could transform.” She said placing her hands on her lap.

“But one in a millennium. When the stars are in line and during a total eclipse, they all get to be together for a few hours. But they are all powerless.” “Like when we have a blue moon?” I asked her. “No. Others, as you know, help Selene at that point. But Selene still has her powers. But during the total eclipse, when Selene and her siblings all congregate on Earth, they are not only powerless but defenseless. The message they have sent must mean they are coming.” “When is the next eclipse?” Florence asks anyone in the room. “Next week. It is next week.” Someone speaks. It is a man I don’t know.

Hazel felt the heat crawling up her spine. "I smell that Luna," Cleo chuckled. "Tonight is also a significant night for our wolves. It's the night of the blood moon." "Yes, Zander told me. He stated that lunar eclipses are a tremendous deal in the supernatural community." "Yes, so as the day progresses our powers will increase and our abilities will heighten to our maximum potential. That's why Carson is so excited that his birthday falls on an eclipse," Cleo explained. "Ok, enough chitchatting. Hazel, the party begins at noon. So, we have 3 hours to get you ready," Gabz said.

“Four days from now. The day of the solar eclipse and the summer solstice.” I turned my head to look at my father. We have all heard the stories about a wolf born on the day of a solar eclipse. I wonder if Harper has heard them. A solar eclipse isn’t something that happens often. It is a very rare event. My father plans to throw a huge celebration to honor our Goddess of the moon, Selene. Getting lost in my thoughts. It is a good thing that my father was staying on track with why we were here. He continued his conversation with Harper, asking a question that brought me back to the topic of our meeting.

She really liked this gift from Kevin, of course. "You know, I've been really into the sky lately. In fact, I'm also curious about up there. Apparently, you gave me a very important gift and I need it," Jenny said, trying to explain it to Kevin for now. "I was so happy when I heard that. I thought you wouldn't like it. In fact, in a few days, there will be a lunar eclipse. Therefore, I want to invite you to see it together and after that we continue this activity onwards, it's fun," said Kevin instantly.

"No, it's been done outside and everything is being concentrated by the moon goddess" Confused, I took to my halt and turned to Conri, "The moon goddess?" "Yes Melissa, the moon goddess" "Who is she ?" Conri turned to me, "She is more like a god for we werewolves. She guides every Alpha especially the Luna, you will tend to have a lot in common with her as soon as you are crown the Luna" As complicated as it sounds, I nodded even though I am yet to understand it at all.

She was the best and only mate I would have and no one else. As I finished my speech which was longer than anyone else. We were ready to bury her so she became one with the earth. But before we could do that, an unknown woman walked into the funeral room, “What are you guys doing?“ The woman asked in a confused tone. “Sorry, we are not seeing anyone today, we're having a funeral for the Luna.” A fellow warrior said. “Funeral?... for who?“ She questioned “Our Luna, Jackqualine Moon” Jacob answered.
