Lunar Eclipse Itsfunneh Novels & Stories

Lyra It was the night of a lunar eclipse. The moon did not cast its pale light across the forest, and yet strangely, it wasn’t dark. No, it was a strange, grayscale sort of light—not silver and glowing like a full moon, but rather everything was contrasted, like someone had put a black and white filter over the world. On a night like tonight, no one should have been able to shift. The lunar eclipse was a night of quiet reflection, of diminished magic. The Moon Goddess was in the midst of her slumber, and no one dared wake her.

“It looks like a total Luna eclipse of the Earth’s moon.” “Scientifically, it is, but in this world it holds much more significance.” Nova replied. I frowned, “But from my knowledge, these only occur once in a hundred years or so.” “Your world is different from this one, Kalila. Here, it occurs every year.” Nova replied.

(Quinn's POV) I frantically pull my phone out of my pocket and start scrolling the internet for information about the eclipse. There is nothing popping up in the search, and social media is unusually silent. It’s totally bizarre. Amongst the eerie silence, I come across a website about the moon's cycles that has a list of dates for the next eclipse around the world. As I scroll down the page, I discover that an eclipse isn’t supposed to happen in the United Kingdom for another seventy years. How can this be possible?

His cologne was so strong, I almost wanted to bury my face in his suit jacket. "Me too." He turned his attention towards me and gave me a lopsided smile. "Lunar eclipse." He mumbled soft but loud enough for me to hear. "What I have heard about it is that it is a time when we are forced to change inwardly. For example, If you've been longing for a relationship to improve by waiting for the other person to change, the lunar eclipse will present you with the facts; that you either need to accept the other person, or change yourself."

"The sun hated what the humans had become. The moon did too. So, on a certain night, they joined forces and made what we now call an eclipse" "What does that have to do with-" "Patience child" He interrupted, and indeed I kept my mouth shut. “On the first night at midnight, the sun sat in front of the moon, making a lunar eclipse. On this night, all the humans who were exposed to the light were transformed into large wolf-like beasts called lycans" I gasped at this. That was literally so cool and so scary at the same time.

His thought was more simple than that. He just wanted to have the same heart as her. He came to the critical point where he was almost finished. But... the light in the room was slowly dimming. The others were focusing on Liam that they had forgotten the event of today. The Solar Eclipse. The moon swallowed the sun. The sky darkened, and the shadow of the moon slowly created a ring of sunlight. Once that ring was complete, and the moon had wholly centered inside the sun, Liam's eyes opened. They were golden bright.

But tonight, the valley was drenched in an unnatural, terrifying twilight. High above, the crescent moon was no longer silver. A slow, creeping shadow had begun to eat away at its edge, bleeding a deep, bruised crimson light across the sky. The stars had faded into an ominous slate-grey, and the wind had died down to a breathless, suffocating silence. The cosmic clock had struck its final hour. The Blood Eclipse was here.

Elder Reed spoke up, leaning forward, “Now that we have our Luna, we should proceed with the Lunar Eclipse Festival. It’s the perfect opportunity to announce your mate to the entire pack, as well as to neighbouring packs. The festival will bring in wolves from all over, and it can serve as a gathering for others to find their mates.” The Lunar Eclipse Festival. My jaw clenched slightly at the mention of it. That festival was more than just a celebration, it was a time when packs from across the region would gather under the moon’s power, party, meet new people, have fun, and yes, find mates. It was a spectacle, a grand celebration that only happens once every eclipse day long before I becam

It was just a thought. "Last night there was a lunar eclipse. Maybe its effect is still there." Everyone saw him, "I mean because of the lunar eclipse, our source of power was cut off and we reverted to the state of normal humans. Though this phase lasts only 10 to 20 minutes, it is still a very vulnerable period for us." Ultima Wolf Drik gave his explanation while seeing an unspoken question in everyone's eyes.

“We should rejoice, Kingdom of the Lycans! After a thousand years— the Goddess has chosen another Luna to save us from a catastrophe that the higher heavens bestowed!” Yulo’s announcement made the crowd roar in excitement and happiness about the new Luna.
